Any other Canadian collectors watching, I contacted Seven Wonders and while they don’t currently ship here, they told me store is coming. Just don’t know what province and or city, but at least it means Canadians will be able to shop Seven Wonders soon.

I met them at a recent pet show. I purchased a T and when I came back to pick it up on my way out, they had put up the sign for the 250 shock box. I may have bought a box that day if I didn't already make a purchase, but this sale starting today gives me another reason to buy. And my birthday is coming up this week on the 13th, so my husband can't say no more Ts either. LOL 🤣.
I was very happy with my shock box from them ^_^ I got the $250 tier box, unfortunately mine got delayed because of the hurricane and I was supposed to pick it up on sep 28th but wasn't able to pick it up until monday, oct 3. They packed it very well though and all of the t's did survive! (I ordered a little heteropoda lunula sling as well but the little guy didn't make it) I received a P. victori, T. apophysis, A. geniculata, L. parahybana, Grammostola pulchra, P. cancerides and a H. gigas.
What were the sizes of the beauties?
@@ohmyl3s857 The P. Victori, A. Geniculata and T. apophysis were about 2 inches, the H. Gigas, Grammostola pulchra and P. Cancerides were about 1 inch and the L. Parahybana was the smallest at about 1/3rd inch, the T. Apophysis already molted once

All the Tarantulas are awesome but the Acanthoscurria geniculata ( 10:45) is gorgeous. I had to watch it 3 times, WOW
The Lasiodora parahybana ( 11:45 ) looked enormous,.

I was thrilled with the shock box I received. I got the $150 one and it had 6 very cool tarantulas. Will probably buy another! 💕💕

Are they from the valley? Fresno? I bought from them at the recent Exotic Pet Show in Sacramento on the 24th and 25th. I got a juvenile Cyriocosmus elegans, the heart butt dwarf T. I bought her (hope it's her) and left her at the table while I walked around and came back later to get her on our way out and when I came back, they had put up a sign for a "shock box". They only had the 250 one available, that I remember, and I'd already spent 75 (70 after discount) on my Dwarf T, so I passed, but I'm considering buying one of these since my birthday is this coming week!

I really like that house shaped enclosure. Really impressed with tarantula cribs. This marks the first time I've been more excited about having an enclosure than the possibilities of species I could put in there!

GBB, pulcra, murinus, bohimie. And two more a pumpkin patch and dwarf something long named lol. Clearly an amazing buy. Can't say what others get but I'm sure it won't disappoint.

Loved this video! I got a Davus Pentaloris a few months ago as my first T after watching your video on dwarf species. And I love it, it started webbing its enclosure like crazy, making itself at home 🕷

The zoomed enclosures are great if you replace the mesh top, plus the price is good for people on a budget that can't afford the new fad of acrylic setups. Those spiders are bigger than I thought they would be 😂 awesome
Hi Richard! I was wondering if you could do a video on the Davus Sp. Panama. You speak very highly of it in your videos so it would be fun to learn about them more in detail 😁
I used to keep bunnies, I made a large enough and divided it into 4 spaces and each space was 10 foot by 10 foot and had 1 bunny in each and put wire on the ground and had dirt and hay to dig in. I wanted them to have a natural type environment. Another bunny breeder asked me why I gave them so much room like it was a bad thing. It made me feel bad like I did something wrong. Later I realized how much happier they actually were. They would run around, dig , run up to me when I would come into the enclosures and I even later learned that you can give them same sex friend, you have to introduce them correctly but they would cuddle together , eat together and seemed to enjoy having company after many others saying bunny are solitary animals and would fight to injury or death together. In the wild they stay in groups. It’s a matter of introducing correctly and realizing some bunnies may never get along but others will be best friends just like dogs,cats and humans. My point is do your own research and do what you think is best like you said. If I ever get bunnies again, colony will be the way to go again.

I met seven wonders at the recent Sacramento reptile show and bought a few T's from them. They were very friendly and extremely helpful. I definitely will be doing business with them again in the future.
I just got their lowest tier shoch box along with a g. pulchra and an avicularia purpurea the same size as yours, probably little siblings 😊😊!! They did a fantastic job with customer service, shipment, and selection of species and I can't wait to purchase from them in the future!

I mean the adult females alone would be worth more than 500, but I get what you mean because I'd also like to know. For example, it was a 1000 dollar shock box, and it was "worth" 1475.00 (or whatever the retail price was/is).

My daughter's Grammastola Pulchripes just molted for its third time since we have had it. Based on its molt, I think it might be female, as it had a similar look to it as the molt of my mature female Aphonopelma Seemanni. I was easily able to identify the (sorry about the lack of correct terminology) flap from the epigastric furrow and the little 'ears' it has. With the Pulchripes, I noticed what appeared to be a similar shape, but am unable to lift it from the rest of the molt like I could with my Seemanni. I think it might be developing its sex organs now. Hopefully I am correct in it being a female.
Just got my $150 shock box! Wish i spent a little more knowing they send way more than the box is worth. Loved the experience great Customer service fast shipping great packaging all around satisfied I was gunna post what I got but you guys have to find out for yourself lol

I have the Zoo Med "Creature" kit/enclosure and it seems great. Definitely big for my Tliltocatl Verdezi right now but he is my first and I wanted something he could grow into. Why don't you like them?
Bc they're built more for arboreal tarantulas or fossorial species, but are too tall and not wide enough for most terrestrial species. Depending on which version you get, some of them just have a screen lid that sets down on the top over the glass walls, there are no locks. A tarantula can easily push the lid off and escape. Even the ones with a locking lid have a very thin mesh a juvenile or adult tarantula could easily chew through escape from in a matter of hours. I do use the zoomed creature enclosures for some fossorial tarantulas, I probably have 8 or 10 of them in use right now. For fossorial species that spend 90% of their life underground, these are great. I just fill them up 80% with dirt and have had no issues.

Just curious as to why you do not recommend the ZooMed creature enclosures. I had been looking into them as future enclosures. Is it because of the type of screen mesh?
Yes Richard doesn’t like the screen tops. He replaces those with acrylic but others seem fine with screen tops. You can try it out for yourself.
@@ThenomanOG Tom Moran actually found one of his Ts dangling from the top mesh. I heard it on his podcast, but I don't remember which one. And I think his T ended up dropping that leg because it couldn't get unstuck, but I could be wrong about the last part, but I'm 100% sure of the fact that he saw his T stuck on the mesh. But I see a lot of people use them and talk about them and it's fine. I guess it's just if you want to take that chance, even if it's a small chance.
The ascreen mesh is very thin and easily chewed through by a tarantula and they can get their feet stuck in there. It also is deep enough to provide enough substrate for the tarantulas to burrow.
