Nice review got two sets of these and they are great when they are working... Don't use rechargeable cells in these... They fry them almost instantly. I got 5000maH rechargeable cells and was impressed for a second or two then bamm no more light from the 1st C cell led then also with other the still working light after going through a couple sets of batteries using on high (Regular alkaline batteries) the heat was to high and it caused cold solder joint on circuit board with new duracell c batteries Had to disassemble and reflow a few IC and pos neg connections to make it work again.... It is a little difficult to reflow because they use high heat solder and it cold solders easily plus it's on a heatsink so poses a little bit of problem to reflow it. (I use a Metcal Soldering station and had to go up to the 800 degree tip which risked burning traces on Circuit board) So I just use LED flashlight on lower setting till the batteries lose some of there power and seems to be fine... Nice LED light got two of the 3 led flashlight kits from costco The C cell is almost as bright as the D cell light and much more convenient size. D cell light has 3 settings for intensity 2 others for flashing and then an sos mode which is nicer for getting longer run times... C cell light only has high and low setting along with the flashing and sos mode. IF you have problems with it changing modes and if your mechanical inclined at all you can disassemble flashlight and gently stretch spring out on both ends to tighten the connection. (Be careful on the LED end it it soldered onto the main IC board and can come lose easily) I also found this to be a problem on the d cell light after a short time it also quit working and it had cold solder joint on the spring connection. Overall good lights and you pretty much get what you pay for Mine were $35 from Costco for 3 LED flashlights the smallest one quit working the first day and I haven't torn into it yet. so they need a little more work on the engineering process to make these more reliable
I picked up a pack of these at Costco a few days ago. I like how the memory resets every 2 or so seconds after you turn it off. So every time you turn it on after 2 or so seconds, it starts on high beam. Also, to change the settings, you don't have turn off the light, just push the button halfway.
I purchased 4 pair of these for different uses a couple of years ago, none of them have given me a problem. It's too bad they don't seem to work for others here.
Price is well worth it. This is one evil little flashlight. The adjustable beam uses a real lens to get the focal point. It's a square beam at it's tightest, and will light up treetops blocks away. If Feit goes retail on their own, look out...
I found the same thing after about a year. The Duracell flashlights at Costco are a really good deal. Right now they have a 3 pack of 380 lumen lights for $20. I buy a couple of the $20 flashlight sets Costco has every year and I am rarely disappointed. The 350 lumen Duracell with the zoom lense are still my favorite but, you can only get them on Amazon now. amzn.to/2xMxcAH $30 right now but, well worth it.
These lights suck but, working or not you can sell them for around $100. This was the light that was on a gun in one of the Terminator movies. There is a market for them with fans and prop guys.
I have 6 of these flashlights. All have broken if you shake them they will start flashing. I have returned to manufacture and new ones are just as bad. do not buy!!!!
Just bought some of these from Costco. £23.49 for the pair. Great price and a really quality product. Good video too. Nice to see.

do you still have these around? I'm looking to buy one of these, but this particular model has been sold out for a long time now.
Good review, but what about price?

would you be willing to sell one of them? Been looking for this particular model, but its sold out everywhere.

Barely used mine and the switch is already bad. I switch between options just by shaking it. Sometimes it just shuts off completely.

Dia Mortensen thank you for this info.
The LED Bulbs don't last long and I cannot find replacement bulbs
