I have recently realized that I am a flashlight junkie. I have them everywhere but, these are my favorites and I never buy enough of them. Whenever I get a three pack, I find new places to hide them. The cars, all of our prepping bags, camping supplies, 3 day emergency kits. I think I only ever have two right next to me. I must have more.

I did a similar test a couple of months ago with the same results. Glad I have a new pack of the 200's stashed away.

The bottom right of the package in the beginning of the video shows 4 hours on low and 1 hour on high. That is the same for all three flashlights. The cost on these was about the same as the others, $20 to $25 for the three pack.

That sound right. I really don't play with the strobe but, I think it is at the brightest level.

It fits in my magazine holder on my shoulder strap but, I just keep it in the pocket of my cargo shorts.

It's depend on the CREE LED installed on flashlight. Some brighter than other even they have the same specs, but they are mostly very bright. Some quality control problem but minor.

It's actually called, "duracell durabeam ultra high intensity led 1000 lumens flashlight"

I have both the 200 and 250 lumen flashlights. There is some color variance between the different units, but the 250 on low power is as bright as the 200 on high power. I think TechLite has poor quality control.

With fresh batteries, there is no difference between my 200 and my 250...same intensity, same color light. The 200 with the scalloped front is one-sixteenth of an inch longer. I keep one in my car, one in my kitchen, one in my bedroom, and one in my family room. They're great for viewing ear wax.

I REALLY need to know how to change the bulb in the "duracell 1000 lumens flashlight" if anyone knows! PLEASE HELP!

No, I just keep them like they came from the factory.

Mine has 3 modes. I think its 125, another click 250 then constant blink...is this at 250?

Can this fit in a nylon pistol magazube pouch?

I have the Techlite Lumen Master 200 and really liked it, but it just "died" on me last night. I think the problem is the light bulb, for the batteries are new and there's been no damage to this flashlight. So, I think the problem likely is the light bulb. If that's the case, then do you know if the bulb can be changed, and if you know it can, then do you know if the bulb needs to be special-ordered from TechLite?
I'm not a member of CostCo. This flashlight was given to me and the person who gave it to me is not around anymore. I also don't know of anyone who is a member of the store.
If the light bulb no longer being good and can't be replaced even for someone who's a member of CostCo (I might possibly find someone who is by asking around), then do you know of any flashlights of similar size that're comparably good to the LM 200 and that can be bought at other stores where customers don't need to be members? It's very disappointing to lose use of it, if that's what'll happen.

mikecorbeil I'm not sure if the bulb can be changed. It really wouldn't be worth the time or energy to do so. These three packs of flashlights with batteries are only $15 to $25. TIP: If you go to a store like Safeway or Walmart that sell gift cards for other stores, you may be able to buy a Costco gift card. If you have a Costco gift card and are not a member, they have to let you in to spend it. If you go to Amazon.com you can find these flashlights for sale or the Duracell version for about the same price. I have been buying a smaller flashlight made by HausBell that they say is 300lm and only takes one AA battery. They are about 2/$10 and we put them everywhere. I will do a review of them soon and put links on the website.

L2Survive Thanks for the reply. I'm in Quebec, Canada and based on some Web searches, the price for a 3-pack of these flashlights is $40 CAD, here; plus 15% sales tax, the latter combining provincial sales tax and federal Goods and Services tax. So the total cost is $46 and that's too much for my needs.
A Web search for Hausbell flashlights in the town where I reside as well as simply in the province doesn't turn up any links for any stores that sell these, but the following page has the or a 300LM model for $6.98, so $7:
      www.amazon.com/Hausbell%C2%AE-Flashlight-300LM-Torch-Adjustable/dp/B00BA5BM8I
I've been using 9 LED Voltax flashlights bought for $2, $2.30 with tax, including three AAA batteries; not good batteries, but lasting I guess 3 to 4 weeks. These flashlights are a pain in the butt though because the cap or cover at the butt end, where the push button is, frequently gets screwed up, quickly too. The last one I bought was screwing up this way the second day of use!
These Voltax were bought at a Dolarama and a store immediately next door, a Rossy store, has small flashlights with larger heads and plenty more LED's. These take AAA batteries as well and cost around $6 (besides taxes) and are very bright, so I'll check them out again this week. If they have a ring at the butt end, then I'll get one of these.
I want and basically need a small flashlight that has a ring at the butt end though. If there isn't already a ring installed, then there needs to be a hole that'd permit adding a ring. The flashlights are hung around the neck when used outdoors. While not in constant use, they still are very frequently used. If the flashlight can't be hung from around the neck, then it'd require frequently taking them out of and putting them back into a pocket, where they'd settle at the bottom. My coat pockets are deep, so .... Using a belt holder for the flashlight wouldn't be any better.
The little Voltax flashlights would be good enough, if the covers or caps that have the push button didn't always screw up. A new one last week was already screwing up this way the second night it was used.
