The problem might be that the aluminum piece that contains the LED might have loosened up. You would have to tighten it, and for that, you will need a special tool. I made one out of wire, and it works great to tighten it, or remove it. Here is the link to my video showing how to remove it: czcams.com/video/wy5bPEspOEE/video.html
I think it is an LED bulb, so not sure. Make sure the batteries are good and the connection points make solid connection. If still dim, may be shot. My only issue was the flashlight changing modes
Hi Jack! would you by any chance still have one of these that you would be willing to sell? I've been looking for this particular model for some time, but they have been sold out for a while. I dont even need it to be in working conditions.
I do still have both of my flashlights, but I don't think I want to sell them. Honestly, there are other flashlights that are just as good if not better. Why do you want this particular flashlight model?
@@jackstephan5851 I work restoring movie props and I'm working on recreating a few pieces specific to a movie from 2012. This is the exact model flashlight that I need. the company kept making the same model number throughout the years but the look of the flashlight kept changing from one year to the other. So my only option is to look for someone willing to sell.
@@jackstephan5851 If you change your mind, I would only need to buy one and I can pay you enough to buy a much better flashlight and a bit extra for the trouble. Here is a link to some of my work with movie props: instagram.com/juans_props_archive/
It does not affect the brightness. Either you have bad batteries or not a good connection. Mine was just as bright as before, it just quit the annoying mode changing
Thanks, Jack! It worked like a charm and now I can actually use my overpriced flashlight. Thank you.
It worked for me! Feit denied my warranty today, great timing!
god bless. fixed my issue perfectly. thanks for making this video.
These were great lights until ... NOW, they're great again. Thanks!
Thank you !!! You just fixed my problem.
Thanks so much for sharing! Working Great Now... You Rock
This definetly worked
Diana Guzmann - It took me a while to figure it out, but the solution is so simple. Its hard to believe the manufacturer hasn't solved the issue yet.
Thank you 10 cent fix.

How do I replace a bulb...light appears as a dim 4-square inside the lens, but is not bright enough to shine.

I would sell you one of them, as like you say, I can buy a better flashlight. You can contact me at jackstephan@pacbell.net, and we can discuss.
After changing batteries the light is not bright?

That or throw away the garbage flashlight and get a streamlight
