    Shooting drills:
    Freestyle dribble to elbow and hop into your shot 5 going right 5 going left - 10 total
    Freestyle dribble to elbow with curve into a little fade 5 going right 5 going left - 10 total
    Anywhere inside the paint 3 quick dribbles backwards into mid range pull up as fast as you can - 10 makes total
    Top of the key drive into any type of stop with any step back/ side step(GET CREATIVE) - 10 makes
    Anywhere from wing to corner shooting, grab your rebound / make and sprint to other side of court into shot (SHOULD BE OFF BALANCE AND GETTING TIRED) - 10 makes
    From top of the key two full speed dribbles to the wing left/ right alternating into shot - 10 makes
    Full speed move inside the three, then stop and relax your dribble then quick pull - 10 makes
    Regular threes, 2 in a row in 5 spots- 10 total
    Both wings to go baseline or middle of paint in two dribbles into a fade, you can throw in a fake or a shimmy. 10 total
    25 shots anything, just don’t repeat the same shot twice

    I picked up the ball after 13 yrs to put down alcohol this year, not even ready to play a pickup game yet but I’m gonna put in the work to re-condition myself. Great video

    Just found this workout and when I did it I felt amazing. It was the perfect amount of challenge. I always struggled to shoot of the dribble and I can already tell this is going to work. This is my Summer workout. ( Going to try to do it every day). Great Workout🏀👍

    I know im late but this imrpoved my ball handling and shooting tremendously, it felt weird to miss a shot this is the day after i struggled shooting

      @@tjltraining no problem man my problem is staying consistent doing workouts that will translate instead of doing simple workouts that offer no real benefit but this summer is where i need to separate so i got to do what i got to do

    Would you recommend we fully commit to making 10 makes every time? I’m finding that I spend almost 20 mins per drill just trying to get one in the hoop. I may only get up to 6, or 7 makes before moving to another movement. My bench mark is to make 5 per drill.

      Speaking as a regular person, not a coach:
      If you feel like you're improving, then sure? But if it's taking you that long to hit the 10 shots, you might need to take a step back and evaluate your shooting mechanics. Or, if your form is sound, then maybe just try doing the drills at half speed until your accuracy is better, and then work on speeding it up gradually.

    I want to say thank you because i got cut on jv im 14 but 15 for this years tryouts but I just hoop everyday and follow a regimen workout but im not on a team or going to any programs because im in a tough situation right now do you know anyway i can get better and is 14 or 15 to late to play basketball?

      never too late!! you are still young, you can catch up if you are training the right way and getting access to the best online resources like videos like this!

      @@nay_.2real all you need is a half court! ideally find some friends or some pick up to play it but worst case make sure you are maximizing your solo workouts by training smart

    So the second turn around off one foot. I'm involved with some national performance trainers in Canada, and a recent seminar spoke on pivoting, and how we haven't been taught to do it correctly. Besides generally being of balance, spinning 9n the toe increases the risk of knee ligament and tendon injuries. As far as pivoting to get out of trouble, that needs to be done off the heal evidently. I'm not sure if that can be translated to turn around? Thoughts?

      BTW, turnaround is my favorite, but I tore my acl left knee and simply want spin that way. Other way I'm like everyone else, not scared to turn off that leg.

    I dont have gym access and a hoop I tried to find a park but there's none I only train by myself on our garage doing dribbling drills, the only time i have gym access is when my dad and I drive to another state where my grandma lives that have a fullcourt on our backyard, but we only come once in 2 months, I always wanted to become pro and become an NBA player but I have no stuff like man whenever there's pickup I always break some ankles but couldn't score, I wish theres someone that can help me and I'm praying you will see this comment to help me out, I'm willing to work very hard I'm in love with this game I hope you can help me.

      If you don’t have any hoop or gym access it’ll be extremely tough to become that type of player unfortunately

      @@tjltraining I will find a way to get a hoop I actually planning on buying an portable one but it's like 6 - 8 ft will that work? im willing to do everything.

      @@Culesh1 Can’t you get a 10 foot hoop or get your parents get you one? You don’t even need a really good one
      You can get a full hoop for under 200 bucks or just a rim and backboard for like a hundred
