- Abandoned Eat N Park - Elyria, OH. Closed over 11 years ago, this Eat N Park has only deteriorated as nothing has ever moved in. A Pittsburgh based chain, Eat N Park seems to not do so well in Ohio. While a few locations are still open, many like this one have closed.

I always go to Eat N Park when I come home to visit, just for the nostalgia. I hope people continue to support them.
Yeah, used to eat at that Burger King once in a while, when I banked at Dollar Bank (another Pittsburg area biz), next door. Used to be a ton of restaurants there, all up and down that area and were all open at the same time. However, back then, the Mall wasn't quite dead yet, and generated a lot more traffic not to mention Wallmart used to be across the street hosting another huge retail area, all pretty much closed now.
You must be from Elyria lol! Because you know what you’re talking about. I was born & raised in Elyria. I remember back in the 80s a lot of that area was nothing but land. The staples was a stop n shop. I remember Gold Circle, I lived in High point in the park as a teen and walked a lot.

Nice video! I always get a bite to eat when I am in the Pittsburgh area at Eat N Park. Last time I went to one was the Altoona location and when I was in the Pittsburgh area, I ate the New Stanton location. Sounds like there's a lot of abandoned things in the Elyria area!
There’s another abandoned Burger King in that area where the Eat N Park is it’s right next door

Thanks Wallie for another great video. I loved Eat'n Park when we lived in Coraopolis in 2015 for a few months. We dont have them in OC, California. Love the cute happy face cookies!😊

I like the windows that lean out and the small round windows are cool and unique too. I expected this place to be in worse shape than it is in considering how long this location has been closed. Another great video.

Eat n Park hasn't been doing well in Northeast Ohio within the past 12 years. They closed in Elyria around 2011. In February 2019, they closed the Boardman, Mentor, Akron area, Medina, and 1 other location.
Thanks for this one! I used to buy smiley cookies from this location and still had the territory for my job when it closed. Sad. I said if eat n park can’t make it, the mall and everything around in the outparcels are also doomed…😢
There's an Eat N Park in Warren, Austintown, and St. Clairsville, Ohio.
The city of Elyria needs to do something about all of the abandoned buildings on West River Road

For a building to sit vacant that long is insane. i know in Ontario Ohio there is an abandoned steak & shake & I decided to do a Google street view of they place. I went as far back as it would let me (2008) & it was closed & boarded up the entire time until not too long ago the boards on the windows disappeared & it now had a realtor sign in the yard last time I went by it.

Ohio does have an inspection for cars. And glad you finally hit up my area in Elyria after all the times you’ve come to Ohio

An awesome video! 👍 I live here in Weirton WV and we have Eat N Park on Three Springs Drive here in Weirton. I ate lunch there yesterday. I really like Eat N Park. There's an Eat N Park in Steubenville, OH by the dead Fort Steuben Mall that has the same aesthetics as the one you filmed.
Good ol eat n park, lots in the area around the mall, spent half a day last time I was there. Some medical offices Going in the BK I believe.

I didn't know they even had Eat n Parks outside the Pittsburgh area! The one here in New Stanton isn't as busy as it used to be 😮😊

I used to love to eat at eatnpark when we had them id go to the locations in parma, medina and cuyahoga falls my favorite things on their menu was the super burger and the potato soup from the salad bar also cant go wrong with a smiley cookie

I go to our Eat n park every Friday i love there shrimp and there pancakes and the chicken..and few other things ill be there tomorrow round 1...

At the Golden Corral restaurant is almost $19 a person for the buffet
I don't go to the Golden corral cause I did some research, and they don't keep their food temperatures at proper temp and there not that clean, and I also heard the one that I know of there service not the good

There was one in Willoughby Ohio before it closed and got torn down. And ther is one in Menter Ohio. I think is still open not share though.
Next can you explore the abandoned Kmart in florissant mo. The location is 3170 Lindbergh Blvd. So can you make a video for it?

Live a mile from here. Eat n park was busy every time I went. Midway mall is pretty much deserted too.
I plan to go back to Midway so I can check it out. I was going to say about Eat N Park. They're usually busy here in Pittsburgh.
