An awesome video, Wallie! 👍👍👍👍 I ate at the Boston Market in Pittsburgh, enroute to UPMC hospital back in 2000. I liked their food. I haven't eaten at a Boston Market since then, honestly because I'm never in an area where a Boston Market is located. Though, I have bought their frozen dinners at the grocery store over the years.

WallieB26 great work! I grew up going to this mall and I have seen it change A LOT over the years. I can remember when there was a Magic Den & photography studio on the second floor, the Time Out arcade, McCroy store, Montgomery Wards, Friendly’s family restaurant & Camelot record store on the ground level, the original “Theaters I, II, III,” and the old footbridge going over the water in the center of the mall…to name a few things. Since you mentioned the Long John Silvers being unique, I wanted to say that as a child the original LJS (before it was remodeled in the mid-late 90s) was my favorite restaurant. My grandfather was sort of stingy and took me there the first time because he had coupons 😅. But, being obsessed with pirates, I was an immediate fan. The original LJS was amazing to me and it was really the only LJS I can find that was designed the way it was (I have been periodically searching the internet for the past 7 or so years looking for a picture of it or something similar out of nostalgia with no luck.) As I remember it, the original design had the wooden planks, poles & thick ropes like the one in the Frederick Town Mall & most of the outdoor LJS in the 80s. But, this one also had a thick fish/ cargo net type of rope webbing in all of the windows. There was an outdoor dining area and I believe 1 or 2 tables in the front entrance that were raised up on a deck-like structure (I think you can still see two tables out front after it was remodeled in more recent pictures) As a child I recall looking at the poles, wooden planks, and thick rope netting and feeling like I was really on a ship. Most of my family would prefer to go to other restaurants-but this was my go-to place for birthday parties 😅 It would be great if someone had a picture of the old LJS.

I just went on street view and found one in Philadelphia that's "temporarily closed" but where it's marked there's a KFC, so maybe they temporarily closed years ago but never reopened then KFC moved in

Never been to a Boston Market, but I'm certain we had one in my city; now is a Wendy's that has remodeled at least once. IDK how the food at Boston Market is.

This place was a dump and the management there was awful. Trust me Wallie , but great take on a place that once was! Do the abandoned Ames/ Hills in Brooklyn OH it's vintage 70s for sure

That building was dedicated to families with mothers fighting breast cancer, that hit me. I lost my mother to breast cancer about three years ago. She was an amazing lady with a terrific spirit.

Yes, some Pizza Hut Pizza Hut have closed. The carryout and delivery only three have closed in Columbus and red lobster. Probably will close as well. I have to wait and see what that one but they’re bankrupts.

Well well another abandoned Boston Market. They really must not be that good if they only have 25 or so locations left. I have never been to one but by the sound of it I am not missing out. Also Isn't Parma where you filmed a really interesting looking Burger King a few years back?

There’s an abandoned Boston Market in North Olmsted, OH with everything still inside down the street from the 4th ever Arby’s (which is abandoned). You should check them out!

Great Video! I am a big fan of Union Pacific and enjoy it when you catch one of there locomotives, It reminds me of Oregon a little bit. I hope you can go to texas soon, I know I don't live there but I liked your videos from there and now I kind of want to go there. Also I hope if you ever get the chance you can catch the new CPKC Locomotives, I like those!
