I never realized how genius boruto was, he destroyed boro's arm so that he couldn't weave any signs and make the weak spot go away and used smoke bombs to draw his attention to set sarada up for success, he truly is minato's grandson.

The real captain and strongest and smartest member of the team, Boruto, will one shot and defeat Boro like the fodder that he is.
Loved how fast Boruto realized, mid-air, looking backwards, after being thrown away with a punch in the face, that Sarada was coming at chidori's full-speed and inmediatly knew what to do including a Rasengan that would prevent Boro from using hand seals. There you have the Namikaze blood.
Besides, the perfect sync between Boruto's jump and Sarada's attack was superb.
Namikaze, Uzumaki, Hyuga and if you believe the Tsunade granny theory we can add Senju, those are 4 of the top 10 strongest genetics in the show. We need an Uchiha, Hozumaki, Aberame and Sarutobi child to come close.

I really love how Sarada seems to be one the few characters who analysis her opponents. I like that about her.
Even though this is her skill, Yet they had to make kawaki tell her about the orb instead she should have knew by herself. Writers just can't let her be powerful as she should be..... They always find bs way to make her look less powerful than her male peers.

Same, she's the closest to the former real Shinobi we know from Naruto OP 1. She uses normal ninja techniques requiring chakra and no weird powers, regular chakra focus and a dojustu inherited from her dad just like other clans. She's a real Shinobi!!!

Sarada is the redemption, depth and strength Sakura always deserved, and as a girl who loved Naruto regardless, she has me in tears on a regular basis.

With Sasuke's skills, Sakura's strength, and Naruto's determination, plus she had teammates that can rely on, Sarada's character is absolutely perfection. In some extent, she really feels like the main character to me.
Boruto noticing Sarada heading his way so he used the smoke bombs and the vanishing Rasengan to create and opening for Sarada, destroying Boro's left arm so he can't weave signs and move the core, was some brilliant and quick thinking from Boruto. He trusted Sarada 100% and knew exactly what needed to be done.
their teamwork is pretty damn impeccable at this point, but i gotta admit that boruto really is a prodigy. his ability to think that quickly on his feet was no small feat, and this arc as a whole has just been *chefs kiss* mwuah.

Amazing how a 30 second sequence from 1:40 - 2:10 can lift an entire episode up like that - Especially the backflip at 1:58 along with the chidori chirping & the "enhancing" of the ability itself when she comes to a full-stop at 2:00 & the camera starts panning really sells it so well, the sound design is really what made this scene work

While I love how Boruto was able to notice Sarada making her attack and was able to plan accordingly with such short time, but Sarada is my favourite new character from this series. Sheâs so like Naruto but so different at the same time. She really is her own character, and I really hope her development doesnât get stunted.

I think it has less to do with his clan and more to do with him being proud of his child and finally being able to be there for her as her father. It really shows that Sasuke didn't want to be as aloof to the upbringing of his only daughter as Fugaku was to his own two sons.

I know the series is about Boruto, but she seriously was the character I cared most about among the original team at the start, because of her situation. She has the classic "become Hokage" goal BUT is also an Uchiha, a clan that doesn't exactly have a good record with the Leaf. Maybe the boys Kawaki and Boruto will get their mega ultra alien clan power ups, but I want HER to grow as a character. Let Sarada get the development her mother could not. Don't let her just be some love interest.

I love that when Boruto sees her coming, he sets her up and then jumps out of the way, trusting her to take down the enemy on her own. I don't think a male character ever did that for any of the girls in OG Naruto or in Shippuden.

Boruto and Sarada's teamwork outshines everyone at this point. Boruto literally used smoke bombs so Boro couldn't see him setting up a vanishing rasengan. Blew his arm off so he couldn't weave signs again to move the core. Then he was in front of Sarada the whole time so Boro couldn't see her coming then dodged at the last second so she'll be right in front of him at full speed. I'm actually fine with that lol! Still gives hope that Sasuke didn't die or is in a serious situation to transplant the remaining eye. I mean, if you think about it. The eye that Boruto stabbed is Itachi's eyes plus only one left? Seems useless no? So I can definitely see this MS Byakugo combination.
Either way, not having a complete body Susanoo also stings but Sarada is a genius either way. I would like to have more hand to hand fights than that and rasengan spamming.

Yeah plus it wouldn't matter anyways. Sasuke only has one so transplanting it would probably be useless. Sarada just needs to train more with Sakura and DAMNIT the studio shouldn't cut her scenes or that MS Byakugo combination wouldn't happen and be rushed in the end.

Unfortunately top tier animation is impossible for long running shows with 200+ episodes. What they can do it put that animation to work when it's really needed which Boruto does very well.
The voice actor here for Sarada is perfect! The way she says "Chidori" is so satisfying! You can hear the passion and urgency her voice! Give it another listen and appreciate a master at work.
Sarada better thank her mother for getting her that Uchiha DNA. She was chasing it for 700 episodes and we finally see why

I mean Naruto is also skilled, but yes he's definitely not a genius. His skill comes from his ability to quickly adapt his fighting style, but he needs help with analyzing the enemy's strategy so he can quickly come up with a counterattack.

When he sensed sarada coming he made a vanishing rasengan and when Boro punched him the rasengan got visible it was the vanishing rasengan sound effect

Sarada is such a perfect blend of Sasuke and Sakura. Using Sasukeâs jutsu with Sakuraâs fighting spirit and attitude. Love the parallel with Sarada saying âThis time Iâll protect them!â just as Sakura said in OG Naruto/Shippuden.

The moment boruto notice sarada going for chidori, he made the neccessary actions to give her an opening within a fraction of seconds(1:48 he release a small rasengan from the smoke.. notice his hands and the white circle, smooth af)... he is more like minato than naruto.
Hell of a good observation with that rasengan i had to rewatch that part.
