I had a motorbike accident over 20 years ago and broke both my Ulna and Radius in my forearm. After 4 major surgeries I can still use my hand although my wrist cannot bend much due to the pain and limited bending motion. I started cycling at the beginning of the year but I think I have been aggravating my wrist and it got so bad that I couldn't hold on to the handlebar anymore. I then found the Leatt 5.5 brace and although it is very expensive in my country I took a chance and bought it. I have been using the brace now for a month and it ALMOST feels like I never broke my wrist. There is the normal amount of light pain after a ride but the support from this brace is phenomenal!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who had a broken wrist/forearm. Well done Leatt!

I have the möbius x8 and love it, got it as a preventative, but also to support my wrists that have taken a beating over the years as someone in a wheelchair, the only possible downside compared to the leatt is the x8 has a button you have to push to unwind it which the leatt doesn’t look like it has

Looking at how it works, I hope it has decent flex or shock absorption as it look like it could put significant force on the metacarpals behind the knuckles. It would suck to prevent a sprained wrist only to break a hand. Any user input here would be great.

I've Mobius X8 but my main complaint is how fast the neoprene liner wears out, it tears at the finger loops.

I should really think about getting one of those........ especially because I only have one working arm and keeping it "working" is my main concern 🤣

Hi Will. I haven't ridden in the Leatt yet but I wore the Mobius for a while and what I can say is that they Mobius is really good. It never affected my riding and did offer good support for my wrist. Just wearing the two in the studio, the Mobius does fit and feel more comfortable to me. - Chase

I bought the Mobius. Curious that brace single or double fingers it cuts the circulation off of time. Have they made a fix for that? My fingers are ordinary sausages so I bet most have this issue. Great brace. Looking at this one for smaller frame.

Great video! Fresh injury club too. Which one limits side to side motion more?

It's designed to be worn over gloves so the fit won't be any different.
