@DragonFlyback256 yeh the motor was worn out when I found it. I put some used brush assembly's on it and greased the bearings, but it aint got long to live
@romandybala I'm guessing because its a 6 pole motor (2850rpm vs 1425 RPM of a 4 pole one) it has more revs but less torque. I am only guessing tho, I don't make a habit of grabbing rotating machinery with my hand, especially not with gloves.
Those motors are tough alright. like the puffs of smoke by every turn of the drum. At least you have the motors for the next burn out. Keep up the great video's
As Long as your not destroying old Hotpoints and Hoovers I'll have no problem with you! Great vids, you can smash up as many Bekos and new indesits etc as much as you like lol!
Thats cool, its just my dad is a whiteware electrition and he was thinking about moving to australia and getting a job because there because there is not much work for that kind of thing in new zealand.
Both of these videos have been INSTANTLY added to My Favourites! :-D In this video, the washer sounded like a chugging steam engine, complete with puffs of smoke too! :-D Was that drum-smoke, belt smoke, or both? When my mum's washer bearing failed, the drum filled with a grey oily-smelling smoke, & the smell got stuck in all of the clothes. Took two more washes to get the smell out of the clothes. Eeew! The machine was a 'Servis' make. We always had problems with that washer!! -BBD.
Australia isn't much better to be honest, most appliances seem to get thrown away for new ones :(, I fix ones that are really worth fixing, but for the most part their junked, same goes for audio and video equipment, old plasma and LCD Tv's show up all the time but their worth nothing :(
I literally placed my computer in front of my washing machine and made it watch this and said 'fuck up my clothes once more and this is what will happen!.' :P
It reminds me sometime ago I was drunk after drinking whisky and started playing with my electric food mixer. i cut my finger but not badly and burnt the motor out . It made the place smell of burning metal for ages.
Those motors are amazingly tough to survive that heavy duty work.
Excellent video as usual
P
@DjDreamz95823 they don't care, I do it during the day so its not a issue. nor do I do it all week. just friday/sat.
@DragonFlyback256 yeh the motor was worn out when I found it.
I put some used brush assembly's on it and greased the bearings, but it aint got long to live
@aeg12p they seem to have 20 or so metal clips holding them together. I pried most of them off at the end and it still stayed together.

4:00 primary fuel pump issues 4:08 engine spooling up then failure... ;-)
If you attach the washing machine engine directly to the drum and run it ballanced, would the drum explode?
IT was chasing after you... Wow, I love these videos. you've inspired me to search after simillar units to use as such. CHEERS
"From my heart, I stab at thee, with my last breath, I spit at thee..."
Those motors are tough alright.
like the puffs of smoke by every turn of the drum.
At least you have the motors for the next burn out.
Keep up the great video's
The neighbors must love this guy. I think I just grew more hair on my knuckles.
LOL, You must have a stock pile of belts the way those things chew em up! It cracks me up to see it tossing parts everywhere!
This one definatly sounded like a steam engine. and god did it smoke like crazy. the motor spooling up and down under no load sounds pretty cool too
LOL, that damned thing actually held up pretty good mechanically. The motor and pulley assembly took forever to die completely!! Epic!!
it never gets old
HELL YEA! FLYWHEEL OF DOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!
:D love it ed!
IT'S THOMAS THE TRAIN WASHING MACHINE!!!!!!!😱😱😱😱😱😱
ProTech47 dude not really it's a washing machine only
was this on a spin cycle or a motor???????
4:07 RIP washer
I've got the sudden urge to write thomas the tank engine references in... yes you can yes you can *chug chug chug*
lol! That motor seems to have some highly advanced overload protector.
Scary, it started chasing you. It's alive & evil. LMFAO 😂😱
most recomended washing machine ever
Wow, that machine is definatly a survivor!! :o)
As Long as your not destroying old Hotpoints and Hoovers I'll have no problem with you! Great vids, you can smash up as many Bekos and new indesits etc as much as you like lol!
How many amps do you draw when you do this?
+Nick Wilson I would hope enough to cause a brownout in the neighborhood.
I love crap washer destructions!!
Aussie50: Hey, hey washingmachine!
Washingmachine: What?
Aussie50: Flywheel!
Lol
@Aussie50 Think 2800rpm is two pole, 1400 four pole, and six pole would be 850/900rpm.
love your videos. excellent.
ever think of refurbishing one of these after it gets beat up (leave it ugly) and auctioning it off?
oh, they do a pretty good job of shredding themselves when you do it right :D
Are you a whiteware electrition?
The way it shuffles along looks creepy. Lol... It's alive!
this is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
that dryer toast af.
Thats cool, its just my dad is a whiteware electrition and he was thinking about moving to australia and getting a job because there because there is not much work for that kind of thing in new zealand.
After watching both videos its now safe to say I have a headache for some reason lol.
Your videos have had me occupied for a few hours... I fking subbed. xD
I wonder what one would do if the chasis was secured to the ground. All of the energy would be used to smash the drum around instead of moving about.
Yea exactly, most people have no idea on what can be fixed and cant, but yea thanks for the advice.
Who needs OMO, Batteries & Flywheels are much more fun :D, you should run that motor til' the bearings disintegrate :)
So tell us honestly, how do your neighbors feel about this noise? Btw, great videos!
Both of these videos have been INSTANTLY added to My Favourites! :-D

.. love your laughing about it ..
What's a spider leg?
These are the kind of operational tests Consumor Reports never gets around to or just never publishes. I can't recall laughing so hard.
ha ha, it's very funny to me that the washing machine went to the camera 🤣😆
Lol, you should take that thing to a burnout competition! It smoked that belt for quite a while! :)
I love the vids
LOL absolutely top washer video!! Smoke from belt, epic!
2:12 On track 01: Washing Machine to Brisbane. On track 02: nothing
Wow, that was dramatic. Nice one. :)
I wonder what would happen if you called out an engineer to try and fix it. Lol "it's making funny noises"
a bit of trackbite on that belt could do some good ? (:
I repair appliances if thats what you mean, tho I don't need a qualification to do it over here
Dang that motor sounds like a turbo
Washing machine mightier than Aussie50. Accept your defeat.
idk know why, but i fell sorry for the engine :(
Great movie btw :D
looks safe good safety wear too. Goggles are a must but other exposed parts of the body...

@Bushougoma Ok thanks I know what you are talking about. Just never heard em called that.
Sounds like my old car after the timing belt snapped.
@Aussie50 Oh well, I had a WP tho, Was the same system with those clips.
Bypassed the control logic to direct drive the motor
How to make an electric steam train!
Thank you
Weld on 3 pogo sticks and a chair then let the races begin!
4:25 RIP IN PEACE WASHER
It reminds me sometime ago I was drunk after drinking whisky and started playing with my electric food mixer. i cut my finger but not badly and burnt the motor out . It made the place smell of burning metal for ages.
I dont think this guy can ever get all the debris cleaned out of his yard

Grey_Fox I think i can, i think i can
Jonp i think i can i think i can i think i Can!! *stalls* nope no I can't
It tried to kill you, it didn't want to die!
it's like it's tryin to get free of the metal outer part...
4:08 Smoky machine
I rekon the neighbours are channel subscribers, and fear for the lives of their own appliances....so they keep quiet!! LOL
poor belt is getting ripped to shreds.
R.I.P. Ed
The other washing machine looks in horror.
IN the end it sounds like a old hit and miss engine.
its dancing
It came after you!
It looked like it was going to come after you and bite!
that's the easy way of getting to the drum without spending hours opening the machine, but you risk killing the bloody thing!!!
@getalife67 lmao!
details of half horse motor. 240v. 50HZ. 25A
2850 rpm 8uf {micro farad?} / 450v Chinese. made. 12mm shaft. 220mm long. 120mm dia. has 25mm pulley. Can stall with gloved hand.
Washing machine: KILL... ME....
@Aussie50 I bet every washer or dryer you come upon is always terrified of you
And it's hitting itself up!
Sound like a steam engine with a jet engine sound attach to it.
29 ladies are angry to their husbands :D
1:06 not mon. Why did you put the lid on ah???¿???
this looks so childish. Yet I laughed my ass off during this video :D
lmao. that belt would have smelt yummy.
Why was it not possible to save the machine? Repair it and donate it to someone who could have used it?
It keeps trying to kill you lol
That is funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
