- George Lucas had a hell of a run with Star Wars. Starting with the original trilogy from 1977 to 1983 before restarting again with the prequel trilogy from 1999 to 2005. But that's not all Lucas had a hand in. There was the part he played in the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special, the Ewok movies, Shadows of the Empire, Clone Wars, The Clone Wars and minor touches on the likes of The Force Unleashed, The Thrawn Trilogy, his potential sequel trilogy and more. My favourite thing in this video is Maso saying he didn’t like anything Clone Wars, despite saying in the Clone Wars finale video he liked it. I genuinely love that, I think it’s terrific for a man to not remember a thing and just assumed he hates it. Very Harrison Ford of him, I’m a big fan

I love that Mason nearly repeats word for word the same rant about Dooku's line in Attack of the Clones here that he already used in the actual Attack of the Clones Caravan of Garbage episode. Really solidifies how much he hates that line.

Schrodingers Star Wars seems like the title of a film students thesis on duality of perception and nostalgia of Star Wars.
Them jokingly saying that the potential lucas sequel movies are perfect reminds me of when SW1313 was canceled. the nerds were up in arms at why a game which in their minds was going to be the best thing ever was canceled when in reality, we had seen next to nothing of that game and nobody knew whether it would be good or not. (In an era when SW games were kinda mediocure too)

I wish a minor mention had gone directly to the OG Battlefronts. Nothing carried the prequels and kept the OG in mind more. Seriously, the prequels I think would be one quarter portion the nostalgia trip for people with out getting to run around as the jedi from the prequels and fighting againts and as the droids.

I've had a soft spot for both Ewok films (outside of ROTJ) since watching them as a kid. Nostalgia aside, they're not particularly good films, but they're not awful either.
They build on the Ewok lore in an interesting way. The log traps the Ewoks use in ROTJ on the AT-ST walkers were reasonably already set up as traps against a marauding Gorax. And neat to see more of the Ewok engineering in the form of their gliders and villages constructed at height.
I always considered the Ewok 'magic' to be expanded use of the force by a shamanistic culture.
I think the OG trilogy will always be the best - all three are S and if I’m totally honest, ROTJ is my favourite - the locations are just the best! Empire is also genius though.
This might be a hot take but I think the animated segment of the holiday special is one of the best pieces of Star Wars animated media.

Did you know Sam Witwer, (voice and model of Starkiller), has done a livestream series of The Force Unleased with a long time friend and director of sound design on the game? I think it's 4 parts and they play through the game and talk a lot about how it came to be, why some decisions were made, what it was like working on it, and some other really interesting behind the scenes stuff. They also had some guests on, who worked on the game and all in all it's just a pretty fun & interesting watch, so I highly recommend it to anyone who's interested that kind of stuff or really wants to watch 2 grown men geek out about a game they made. It's on his CZcams channel "Sam Witwer"

Looking back on it, Splinter of the Mind's Eye feels like a really early version of what Andor would do masterfully, in that it's much more about espionage than big budget battles.

I went to Star Wars After Dark at Disneyland. It was OK! Fun fact though, the original name for Star Wars was "Blue Harvest"... which was the original name for Star Wars.
When it comes to lightsaber combat, Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy were definitely the top games to play! And I love the story of Jedi Knight Dark Forces II, the seven dark Jedi, the Valley of the Jedi. Great stuff.

Well, for me, the prequels are my favorite and I genuinely love all three (except for the Anakin/Padme bits). I love them so much. Also, I can’t believe the guys don’t like/havent watched the Clone Wars show. It is slow to start and it’s not for everyone but I absolutely love it. That show made me fall in love with and genuinely care for the clones and everything they go through all the way through the Bad Batch. Which is another great show. Eh, to each their own, but I adore them
I realized just how big of a nerd I am watching this because I was anxious the moment ANH and ESB were placed in C Tier... And then felt instantly better when they were moved to the top. Vader Scream: Noooooooooooooooooo!

Please make a tier list of franchises with significant fandoms. Also a tier list of movies that did terribly at the box office but are considered classics now. Also a tier list of "cinephile" movies such as train arriving at the station, Citizen Kane, every Stanley Kubrick movie, and uhmmm... the movie Dodgeball, I reckon. I will personally guarantee that no viewer will become upset watching any of those tier list videos.

The Clone Wars TV show should always be an S tier. It has everything Star Wars should've been.
My favorite of the prequel movies is the first one, just because of the pod race (one big Ben-Hur reference) and the final battle. I do enjoy the last third of the last movie though. The emperor gets to ham it up, and we get the whole killing Younglings scene which always cracks me up.
EDIT: No, I don't actually remember the names of the movies.

Good ranking overall - I particularly agree with the Thrawn trilogy being S-tier. It's my favorite Star Wars product bar none.
