BJP Workers Brutally Attacked Journalist During Amit Shah's Rally In Rae Bareli, FIR Lodged

- A 27-year-old journalist from Delhi named Raghav Trivedi was reportedly attacked by individuals said to be affiliated with the BJP party during an election rally for Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Rae Bareli.
Trivedi, who works for a CZcams news channel called 'Molitics', said that he was assaulted after asking some attendees about statements made at the rally. Former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel visited Trivedi at the hospital and described the incident as a direct assault on democracy.
Sanjeet Sahni, a cameraman and colleague of Trivedi, filed a complaint leading to the registration of an FIR against six unidentified individuals. The charges include Sections 147 (rioting), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of the IPC.
