Great review Rexer! The 5 interesting facts were surprising; why they chose to implement color etc. At $199 I’m uninterested but I would be a first-time purchaser at around $100-$150. I see a lot of guys having these in a diorama in their game rooms but never actually playing them. At this price I can’t justify having it sit around collecting dust as a show piece.
Yes a little expensive. It’s almost like they should remove all those bells and whistles and keep the price down. Good to hear from you Mikey. .
They are a bit expensive, but they do hold their value if you decide to sell them off later. Some even exceeding their purchase price.

I might go for a mini arcade like this if it was a kit. For the right machine, I would put it together. Then I see myself putting it on display like it was a model car or something.
Glens retro show has a kit. “build a cade”. I’m making mine look like a DK once I get the art.

Some people would make you think I never do it , disclose….. yet they would be wrong and are wrong. 😂😁. They would even waste 2 hours of their life disproving themselves ….I wonder who she would be ..😂😂. Hey thanks for watching. I know it gets less interesting with each review that has been done. Unfortunately I’m on the “C” list of CZcamsrs and get my review unit last. 😂😂😂. Better than not being on the list though.

Berzerk is one of my all time favorite Arcade machines and this was an absolute pre-order. I originally had trouble with mine, but support got back with me and all my issues were resolved.
Berzerk is the second 3/4 scale cabinet I added to my Home Arcade, I skinned a Rec Room Masters Alphacade. It has 2 large black bat top HAPP joysticks that make it a joy to play (not to mention having 2 quality joysticks makes it great to play twinstick games like Robotron and Black Widow as well).
I only remember playing Berzerk back in the day with the large black Bat Top, so I'm glad New Wave Toys included it here. The only disappointment on this Replicade for me is the lack of Stern logos, especially egregious on the actual rom showing Atari instead of Stern. Now, I get that Atari now owns the rights to Berzerk, and I'd rather have New Wave Toys release this than not, but I wish license holders understood what companies like New Wave Toys are trying to do, closely recreate the original machine. Still, I'm VERY HAPPY to have this 1/6 scale Berzerk.

This one is especially for you. Anyone who likes berzerk has to get this !! I wasn’t bothered by missing logos. Yes it would be cool, but it’s not like removing Johnny cage from the Mk side art. That’s a little bigger deal. But nobody should be disappointed.

Love the details in these machines. This one seems at a different level. Would love to have them, but theres a lot of other desk $h!t i would like to have.

I really want to pick up something like this for my work desk. They've released some amazing titles but I'm just waiting one that really moves me.

Lol. I got scared playing it , thought I would die. I remember riding a roller coaster one time where a guy died of heart attack on it and I was scared I would suffer the same fate.

Nice overview. This game was not my jam, so I will not be purchasing it. But I can deny how great it looks. The extra care to detail is smart.
From the coins working. To the added joystick; to the flicker marquee., the pcb added , all this stuff was over the top !
Definitely better built than a 1down!
And definitely would rather have this than a 1Down deluxe
They went all out on this one... If they just had a light up screen without the game and knocked $50 off the price I would buy it.. great review.

Great Review! But I am curious why you enjoy these smaller machines vs other companies products? For example if this was a Bigger or half sized cabinet review. I am sure you would have given them more Hell on the controls being not 100% correct and that you would rather play the full size cabinet. Just be Honest! That is all I ask. (But I also understand you don't want to upset the company who given you a Review copy). I just find it Funny is all.
You obviously didn’t watch my other NWT reviews. They weren’t great reviews. These are not meant to be played like a 3/4 scale or full size. These are mostly for display and looks. (Although I guess everyone buys 1ups for display and looks too, so I guess this argument isn’t good ). But supposedly , 3/4 scale arcades are meant to be played. So when the playing experience sucks horribly, it’s a much bigger factor than when a tiny arcade isn’t easy to play. Nobody goes into buying these things and says , “this is going to be exactly like playing the real arcade.” As for the joystick complaint I had , what you don’t know is that they don’t use GRS sticks , so maybe if they used GRS mini stick , it would be better.
@@therexershow okay I will watch them just to be fair. GRS sticks would be interesting and hoping they do that or do more games you don't run into as much in the Arcade.
@@dragongamer2670 the point is these are high quality devices. Same as numskull. Arcade 1up has these same things for $100 and they are the biggest pieces of crap. These are nice devices , built well, and have amazing features and components. Whereas 1ups are built cheap ; built like crap , and have all cheap components. So there is no comparison. Do you see the difference ?
@@therexershow Not interested in the Arcade1up version. But yeah I totally agree that those are built more on the cheap end hence the $100. Just wish the machines were bigger is all.

Arcade talk, if you take out the "game popularity", is it still not the best? Which ones do you like better?
@@therexershow I can only speak of the four that I have, my favorite is Food Fight since I just like the look of that one. I remember seeing that one for the first time in the arcade and saying wow that looks awesome. I just love the side art on it and I always have. But, if A1up makes one I would not buy it.

Wasn't very impressed with the quality of this cabinet. Feels cheap and not as good as Dragons lair and Space ace.( I actually thought id been sent a cheap rip off cabinet)
Also prefer the power and volume buttons at the back of the cabinet. I wont be purchasing another cabinet after this one. Would really liked a gauntlet or dragons lair 2. But its my last one. It doesn't even say coin detected in pocket 🤦🏻♂️
Yes it does say coin detected in pocket. I own a few of these and they all seem the same quality of wood and build. Not sure of the difference.
Well my HDMI out doesn't work and it actually did say coin detected in pocket. 😂 I must of loaded it up with credits on my first play. But still , I don't think the build quality is as good as dragons lair and I prefer the power and volume at the back. I don't know why they went for it on top. Did the original have a power on, on top . 😂😂
@spankingb4bedtime350 I would like to see a more realistic power switch. But yes , a lot of machines had them on top, just not like this one. And volume is controlled in many different ways.
Coin detected in pocket works, I'll take that back. HDMI works when the cabinet is plugged in. Unfortunately the unit is fussy about joysticks. My hyperkin trooper doesn't work and only ones that work seems to be D pad only .
