Unbelievable what became of Arcade1up. I own the first TMNT one and the NBA Jam one but I don't think I'm ever buying another one at this point.

Wow. I can’t believe people still follow and listen to that dolt, 1upKits. Really? He’s going to “regret not buying it”? As if he’s ever bought a single 1up cab. EVER?! Is this guy still on their payroll or something? I feel like he’s only speaking to Cornercade at this point. You are definitely correct… they will assemble them to look at, then they’ll collect dust for the next twenty years, before they’re finally tossed out (by their kids) to stack up in our landfills.

Its a great option for those starting their home arcade journey. I was there in the arcades in 1980. If you had told me these machines would be an option in 40 yrs, i would have lost my mind. They are not perfect, but are still exciting.

This is why we have REAL arcade machines, that's why they're BIGGER, BETTER! Some games just aren't meant to be played on a smaller size, this is why I think we still need real coin-op arcade machines.

Well said brother. I was thinking the same thing when I saw the games list and control panel. "It's the most games ever on a 1up" yeah but how many are ACTUALLY playable?!

This cabinet is an absolute insult. The games with the complex layouts are gonna be a mess to play. The least they could do for Toobin was have a similar button layout to the Mortal Kombat cabinets where the low attack buttons are for forward paddling and the high attack buttons are the back paddle buttons while block throws the cans. If i see this at Costco, ill try to get gameplay footage, but I'm certainly gonna hate the layout. And of course, im sure this caters to families since they didn't bother to dabble with the inclusion of the MK games.

For a casual one off buy, I can see someone purchasing it. Or for someone with a man cave looking for a a small addition. But for a community of 1up channels that spent 4 years preaching "arcade accuracy" as the main selling feature(despite the flaws)....then to immediately jump on board for this really shows where their motivation lies.

Great video Rexer.. At this point, Arcade 1up is like a dead husk.. sure they'll still spit out cabs.. but it's all variations of the same thing over and over. Good for calling out the shills too.. such hypocrites I swear. Console Kits..oh brother. So glad he fell off, got so tired of his ridiculous guitar/singing schtick when he was streaming with Ralph. I would love to see a skit where the 1Up impulse buyer has arcade friends coming over but forgets, to then franticly pushing the nephews and toddlers playing them out of the way to hide 1up's in the closet, then the friends barge in and he's desperately closing the "shills" channel tabs while pretending to browse atgames store and replica cabs. I know.. it's stupid, but it's funny in my mind.

Rexer, It's funny, every time I see one of these videos, my first instinct is to tell you my thoughts and point out any positives I see. But when everything you say is true, even if I have different conclusions at some points, there's no reason for me to try to convince, because I know what you like. You've been upfront from the beginning, and that's something I've greatly appreciated about you. I won't be buying one of these new mashup machines, but I'm SO GLAD it's coming out. Why? Everything that Rex said is correct. It's the very reason why I have A PI 4 and all I have to spend is 50 Bucks just to play these games through emulation I can deal with on a controller if I want the arcade experience. I'll go out and find the old arcade to get the exact experience i want, but this one up shit is not the thing....What a joke..!!!

Horrible cabinet. For that price find an empty real size cab and make a multicade. I have 3 full size cabinets and 1 wall mount arcade 1up, the 1up is basically just there to look cool. Also why are all the cabinets 2 player? Not nearly enough room to accommodate 2 adults.

I just can’t believe this cabinet exists. It’s such a disgrace that not a single game on this cabinet is even close to an authentic experience. I genuinely don’t know how anyone could defend that garbage, by far top 3 worst products A1up has ever released

You cannot play Paperboy with a joystick. I have tried and failed many of times. Yeah you get a lot of games but so many of them you really cannot even play.

This stuff would be more worth it if the tech inside was worth $400-500 but it is just a pile of particle board and 5-10 yr old pcb tech and a cheap lcd screen.

Can I be the first to say this is the very first Arcade1up machine I've truly considered to buy other than the Atari 50 Gold one. These machines are unique. You get more games which means it'll get more used. I feel sad for those who buy arcade of their childhood using tiny machines lined up with a total of a few games for quite a few thousand dollars. My friend did this, and he bugged you to play because no one ever played them. They just sat there wasting electricity. I for one want a home arcade. I love that it's in a cab like it was old school, but I need value too. This machine is a step in the right direction for most homes. Truth is, it needs a few more games to be a great value.

Dude what's wrong with you, if I swap out the monitor, change the marquee, and order a completely new control deck, then do my own custom artwork, this thing could possibly be worth it. Imagine the views I will get showing the complete process. I could easily squeeze in 3 shows and the super chats might fund 20% of my buy.

One last comment - the games are all GREAT arcade games by themselves - but to see them disrespected and put out this way is a travesty. It’s a waste of good licensing.

Arcade 1up is hitting it out of the park! They upgraded to 3-ply cardboard! And they throw in a free sandbag to keep it from moving during gameplay now more stable than ever! The bigger cab gives you the real arcade feel and now with scattered buttons you won't bump into your friends as much! And the price is a steal that will leave you feeling guilty about even having one! I definitely believe these will be huge for those collectors just think of how much they will be worth in a few years!$
