I managed to pick up a 2024 trd pro for invoice price. Had to drive a couple of hours to get it though. All the other dealers didnt wanna budge so I walked out and they lost a sale.

I am going to buy a 24 TRD Pro model 4Runner, put a bunch of miles on it and then try to sell it for the same or more than i paid for it next year.

The 4Runner is a 15 year old design and many buyers are waiting for the new model. The new 2025 models is really a totally different vehicle than the 2024. The price is the 2025 on will be a huge jump up from the 2024, so the buyers may be totally different. It is going from the mid 40s to low 50s, and the 2025 will be low 50s to high 60s. With peoples income under pressure and high interest rate these new prices may be difficult for the current 4Runner buyers.

I'm going to wait until one shows up near me, I only have 40 Toyota dealerships close to me here in Pasadena Maryland, but all of them are premiums. Must be 500 premiums and no base TRD OffRoad's. I figure I have a few months to sit on it.

I'm thinking of trading my 2022 Tundra for a 2024 4runner.. The 2025 4runners look nice. but i just don't know about that price tag.
I've got a '24 TRD Pro in Terra for the wife. Traded her CX-50 for this beast and man... it just feels good driving it. I actually feel a little bit more at peace because the 4Runner will definitely protect her more than the CX-50. However... it just doesn't feel the same as driving my '21 Tacoma. Its not as capable as the 4Runner but its my truck so I definitely understand how you feel about your Tacoma 🥲

Seems to be a system wide thing. I'm in maryland and the sr5 is around 2k below msrp. Some dealers are asking 10k over msrp on the trd though. Let them rot. I gotta feeling a crash is going to happen after this election cycle. Seems to me people are tapped out. Just my opinion though. Still waiting on that Lexus video though. 😂
