Stop ragging on Julie guys! These videos are made for those who are first time shooters, and are a great backup for those of us who are instructors to help people so they can actually see what's going on, after they have received their first instruction or before. Remember we all started somewhere with this sport. Some are barely wrapping their heads around the fact that they're going to need to be able to develop skills to survive a home invasion or a riot. Baby steps please...
Thanks, Nancy. I'm glad people are finding them useful.
I agree with Nancy! Excellent instructional video--and it's one in which a woman provides the instruction...hope like hell that that is not a contributing factor behind the nit-picking, petty comments. Shooters of all levels can learn from her--as an instructor, I certainly do. Oh, and I am a guy.
It has been a while since I used a handgun and I am finding these videos very helpful
My first time loading magazine and this video was very helpful. TY
JulieG is Absolutely Awesome.
So kind. Thank you for watching!!
I've forced myself to try to load as much as I can without a loader until I became proficient. A mag loader is a lifesaver!
When I was in the Army, they said loading mags would make you tough. I have thumb arthritis now! LOL. Now I use an Uplula.
Julie I'm 73 with arthritic fingers so I use an EZ Loader and it works fantastic
I'm with you! I hate when I forget my loader.
Just use a maglula loaders.
Saves your fingers and for those who have arthritis.
Didn't watch the whole video, did you?
I've bought a Maglula loader to accompany every magazine fed gun I own (except my 22s). I've tried other speed loaders but haven't found anything easier or better. That being said, any type of loader is tremendously better than none,
My EZ 380 and 9mm have the loader assist tabs. Quick and easy. Also my M&P 15-22 mags have the loader assist tabs. Great ideas from S&W.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you! ! I shared this on my Facebook page for my friends that may need this
YAY!!! Thanks, Richard.
Good information Julie. I have both ez 380 and 9 which are a breeze to load but I recently purchase a loader for my other thumb busting magazines. Thank you 😊
Awesome. Appreciate you watching.
My black Uplula is sexy, but I can see my lemon yellow one in my range bag!
I like a upluder if I don’t have mag tabs
So when do we get a home reloading guide from S&W?
Yes mam. I bought me a Uplula when I bought my pistol. There's was. NO WAY. I was loading mags with my thumb. Hell! I can't walk and chew gum at the same time.🤣🤣Let alone load a mag with my fingers
I have child-sized hands and my load assist just arrived today 😺
Lula stays in my range bag, both of them.
I don't know who is prettier,you or Jessie?🤗🤗🤗
👍👍🙏🇺🇸
As a pistol instructor, one thing that I reinforce is proper terminology; a bullet is only one component of a cartridge or round. We load magazines with cartridges, not bullets. I know that Julie knows better. She is a fantastic competitor. But, this video could lead to some confusion for novice shooters.
You lost me as soon as you called the cartridge a bullet. Words have meaning.
It's a cartridge, not a bullet. lol
Seriously, go to the Internet to buy a box of "bullets" and that's exactly what you'll get - a box of JUST the bullet. Great for those that self-load their ammo thus have their own cases, powder, etc.
Well aware and yes, cartridge is the technically correct term. That said, referring to ammo as "bullets" is also extremely common, especially among those new to firearms. Going "to the internet" as suggested, if you do a search for "bullets" on Google, you won't find a direct link to a shopping page. You'll find links to ammunition suppliers -- components, bulk ammo, and where to find boxes of ammo. In any case, thanks for watching.
