I guess that thirty years of no preservation actions (25 miles or a 30-minute static run per month) and then the "new" shells ain't new anymore. In 1990 this was just a 15 year old car, it is a wonder that anybody would rebuild the engine, then not bother to use the car. Perhaps the owner in 1990 met with health troubles? Check everything, because the 1990 guy screwed up the end play, so what else?
