    Just binge watched most of your videos over the last few days, your fairly good at holding peoples attention with your cinematography! Looking forward to the next episodes!.. when I am riding in Europe I keep a pair of shoes easily accessible on the bike and wear a pair of shorts and T-shirt under my riding gear, then whenever I pull over somewhere, even if it’s just for 15 minutes or so I would quickly take off my riding gear and put on runners.. i can change outfits in about 30 seconds now.. it sounds mad but it really made the stops feel much more refreshing and all of sudden the coffee / beach stops felt more immersed in the locality!

      Thanks so much!! The latest videos are less shot focused and more volg style because they're not really the priority at the moment, am constantly working on something bigger behind the scenes 🤫 but I'm so glad to hear you appreciate the videography in the vids! 🙏🏽

    Your earlier story on the sunset in Portugal comes to life in this video. Ferdia you did not disappoint!!! And yes, I loved this video. Following the coast line is gorgeous and one of my dreams. Someday.... Your commentary on coffee, the people's beer, the weird Spanish time zone, and Mr. Eiffel's bridge in Portugal, AND your opinion on his tower in Paris....🙈🙈....well your analysis of all things means as much to me as the videos. Looking forward to Part 2. 😊

    You've outdone yourself! Where to begin . . . There's a hallmark to your work and it's' all good. Your appreciation of everything is always conveyed and that's why we always feel we really were right there with you.. You have a cinematic sense and an eye for visuals that keeps it interesting--never the obvious shot but the one that draws us in.. From nature to architecture to panorama you know how to weave a tapestry in motion.. Your comparative remarks about countries are fascinating. And here I want to thank you for not even mentioning American coffee. I don't know if you were being kind or if our pathetic thin, pallid coffee isn't even on your radar. 😝

    The beauty of the Portuguese coast is marvelous! I love the grandiur of the mouuntains but, I grew up near the water. You could say that it's in my blood. Lol. Yeah, it was (I guess it still is) fresh water but, it is water, nonetheless. It does have a different aroma than the salt sea. I love your tour through the old towns, too. There be history there!
    My younger sister decided that she was going to emigrate to Portugal and lived in Lisbon. She was there about six weeks before returning to Portland, Oregon. She missed her daughter who is just 20 years old. She also decided to do it alone. If she had somebody with her to share the experience, I think it would have been more difficult to return home.

    Hola Ferdia! I haven't watched your videos in awhile. I was not disappointed. Your videos seem to have improved. I am glad you're still making them. Portugal is a country not on my list to visit. It does have an interesting history though. Thanks for giving me a little of what it would be like to visit.I continue to wish you all the best and I hope you will do the USA at some point in the future. I am interested in your thoughts
    Adios Ferdia!!

    Duero is Spanish, in Portugal the river's name is Douro.
    About the bridges at 5:18 and 6:14: the first one is the D. Luiz I bridge, built by the Société de Willebroeck, and the second one is the D. Maria Pia bridge, built by Eiffel's company. However, none of them was designed by him, they were both designed by the belgian engineer Théophile Seyrig.

    • @unOrdinaryWorld
      @unOrdinaryWorld  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Thank you for correcting this.
      Clarification on the bridge:
      "It was to be administered by Théophile Seyrig, a disciple of Gustave Eiffel and author of the project. Seyrig had worked on the D. Maria bridge with Eiffel, hence the resemblance of his new bridge to the D. Maria bridge."
