When you make a loop with delay repeaters, can you turn them off without breaking the loop?

I think you should make something like an end gate with power switches, so you can do it but it's not necessarily very simple

I have a question, can you set a repeater to 11, 13 or another prime number? Because for a project I really need that. I tried to find some solutions but I still didn't find anything good.

Unfortunately you cannot set a prime number that is not included in the repeater ... So basically 7 is the highest you can get... Even multiplication wouldn't work
