This is my modified AutoLok for my Ford Focus RS Mk3
I know it doesn't add that much more security but is a Visual Deterrent

I wish I had those cup holders....We always get shafted across the pond. Nice car man.

Although you made this some time ago it is good to see the set up. It has helped me adapt one also for my ST3 which is the same as yours. Although its not a high security device it is indeed a visual deterrent and buys you time. The more you can add as a layer of security the longer it takes them to remove and that's more risk of being seen or caught. interested to see the next one you made if you still have it. anyway thanks for the upload :)

Nice car man. Was just wondering where I could buy one of those locks and if it would work in any other stick shift/ handbrake lever, thanks

This lock was designed and made years ago(but can still buy) when handbrakes were behind the gear stick and hinges in the middle downwards to fit around the gear stick, with the mk3 handbrake being to oneside, it needs to hinge left/ right, the lock sides in and out with a number of holes along it to get the right length, underneath it there is a small screw, if the screw is removed the head sides off, this allows the head to be replaced at 90° to where it was, in doing so allows it now to hinge left/ right but a new hole will need to be drilled for the lock pin as the old ones will now be on the side, I welded all the old holes up, hope that helps

RS Focus 435 if you don't mind me asking how did you modified it, have one myself and I don't think it will fit on the MG

It depends on where you gear stick is in relation to your hand brake, Underneath there is a small screw, if you remover that the end piece slides out and then can be put back in 90 degrees to its self meaning it now bends right and left instead of up and down , the difference with mine is i fully welded all the holes up and the slot down the back
