My mom mistakenly zelled $750 to this random person meaning to send it to my dad. Zelle of course said theres nothing they can do. So my mom called the person, it was a lady in her 60s around my mom age. She said she didnt know who or why she got the money sent but she said she wasnt touching it because she knew it had to be a mistake. Long story short, her and my mom hit it off & still check in on each other till this day😂

Two girls riding together to the movies...yet both got out of the same side of the car which means the second, the bestie was riding in the backseat....of a minivan that the rear door swung out on to hit her car, and was old enough that it did not have automatic on/off lights?.......it was a fake story to entertain followers and everyone bit without questioning the details. Kind of like in psychology class where you make up social experiments for measured reactions of how people never question the details and can be predicted.

The attic thing....yes pranks can be fun with your spouse, but when you promise not to do something but then do it anyways....it really takes a toll on the trust between people.
I am fully convinced that this is some random woman giving out the same phone number to anyone who chats her up in public (bars/pubs/clubs). She chose one random phone number, memorised it, and uses that by default so to avoid people she doesn’t want to get to know.

I doubt it. How would a person give a random number to two people from different sides of the country? It seems more like both people are the same person and are pretending to hit it off, to fool her. Her saying both people have the same vibe and both falsly messaging her? Very unlikely for them to be two different individuals. Motive unclear, but the woman recording never mentioned calling them or facetiming, just messaging back and forth. So it could very well be a catfish situation or trying to lure her into a false sense of security with malicious intent behind it.

Like in the situation of that being the same person (good chance they arent the same person, The girl having girl experiences and maybe they sent her proof that she just didnt show etc. etc.) What would the dude even gain? Sometimes they just get off on the fact that they're able to fool someone else, sometimes they're lonely and seek some human contact and connection (and then when they get it, they're too deep down the rabbit hole and keep making up more and more lies to keep that connection going). I'm not saying that that's definitely what's happening here (I could well see these being real people) but I also wouldn't be shocked to find out that they're the same person.
If you flip the last two numbers of my phone number, that number belongs to a guy who works odd jobs and gives his number to TONS of people because of that. I get all kinds of calls from all kinds of people. Sometimes buddy man is late and someone was too angry to get the numbers straight. Sometimes people are old and it takes a while to explain I'm two feet shorter, at least a decade older, and a lot more female than the helpful young man they are looking for! I've never tried to call him, true crime addict since I was a young girl and all that, but it's been years and I still get the calls.

I don’t know… he seemed to go along with it quite well. Probably more of a skit. I got trapped in my bedroom a few months ago (the lock seized or something) he tried to be gentle at first (in a rental) but once I started to freak out , he kicked down the door. But another time he locked himself in a closet to scare my kid, we didn’t even know there was a lock on that one (same rental) the minute I heard his panic - I body checked that door twice and freed his butt. I’d never divorce the love of my life for a minor fuck up or infraction.

My parents bought a house. They had no clue that it had been being used prior to them by a commercial establishment that quietly sold intimate acts. It took a couple of years for the word to get to all the former clients that it was no longer a great place to visit if one wanted something other than a brief visit with an elderly couple. My folks actually saw this as an unexpected opportunity to share their faith with "those in need". So many laughs!

Honestly, I would've just stopped them and asked for insurance immediately. They would either be late to their movie or if they tried to leave I could call non-emergency line and the police will follow up with them.

In response to your specific question of "Why would you" for the last story: I think of it along the lines of websites like reddit where most posters are anonymous. I met 2 of my absolute besties while writing fanfiction. We graduated from message board chats to phone chats, to my family and I went to visit them (the 2 are lifelong, shared a playpen, besties already and live (at that time) next to each other) and we send each other random gifts (currently teaching myself how to hand bind books to convert their fanfictions into hardbacks for them to keep forever). Think of it like that grandmother who accidentally texted the wrong young man to make sure he was coming to Thanksgiving. I believe it was 4 or 5 years ago, and he and his brother are still invited to the family meals.
I would not do well if someone locked me in the attic... like, thats the end right there

More than a year and we’re still texting about camping and travel stuff we’re individually doing and sending pics of the cool places we go. I even mailed him a Christmas gift. the last one is similar to a story about a couple I know. My friend kept getting random wrong numbers calling him and so as a "joke" he gave a man's number, who called regularly even though he knew it was a wrong number or should have after 10 or so messages, to a woman who kept making the same mistake. My friend would get "update" messages from the 2 wrong numbers. After around 3 years of random texts from both the strangers, Will got a message asking him if he'd like to be flown out to attend the wedding since he was the one who got these 2 talking in the first place. He did end up going and now has 2 families that "adopted" him as one of their own. As far as I know this couple has been together for the last 9 or 10 years, married and a couple of kids.

That last story sounds a lot like my relationship with my boyfriend. We met randomly through a video game, talked for a while, traveled to see each other (800 mile distance), and now we live together! We just celebrated our 4th anniversary. I was mostly single for nearly 20 years, after my child's Father ended our marriage.
I told God that I really wanted to be married, but I was done with dating, & done with looking (after some really awful, really discouraging attempts at dating & relationships),
& that He would have to throw someone in my lap, if it was going to happen.
I wrote long, long detailed letters to God, about my requirements for a partner--
the kind of man I knew I needed, & know that I need--
brilliant, kind, gentle, sensitive, Loving, Spiritual, deep-thinking, open-minded, open-hearted, etc
--& the shared values, priorities, beliefs, lifestyle, & goals that I knew we would need to share,
in order to have a successful, healthy, happy _lasting, forever_ relationship.
Eventually, I moved back to my hometown--
(on the opposite US Coast, to where I had made my adult life & family)
--after my Mother died, to be with my aging Father in his time of grief.
About two years ago, I sent a supportive FB Message of sympathy & care,
to a man I knew, kind of,
in response to a terrible, terrible tragedy in his family.
He & I _HAD_ lived in the same very small, very rural, very geographically-isolated area--
on the other side of the country,
--for six years, at the same time.
When we both lived there,
we became somewhat acquainted,
because we belong to the same political group,
& another person in the group (in a city 250 miles away) contacted each of us & said that we were both in the same area & should meet.
We'd become FB friends, shared phone numbers, & had texted a bit,
maybe talked on the phone once, or twice, & had planned to meet up once--
but it didn't work out that time, & we never got around to rescheduling the meeting.
Now we both lived, & live, on the _opposite_ Coast, to where we "met",
but three US States apart (a ten hour drive from each other).
He responded to my message & we began a more personal dialogue.
Shortly he ended up calling me, & we talked on the phone ALL NIGHT.
_Now,_ we are about two weeks short of two years into LOVE & commitment, we are engaged, & are just about to move in together!
And, he has every.single.quality.
that I put in my extensive lists to God!
Plus, a few that are so uniquely specific,
that I would _never even have DREAMED of asking God_ for a man with those qualities!
[Specific I was, yes--
GREEDY, no! 🤣)
And, he has a few wonderful qualities that I didn't even know I wanted!
I had never encountered these qualities in a man--
I didn't even KNOW to ask for them!
It kind of feels like God made us exactly for each other.
I have to pinch myself, sometimes, to check if I'm having some delicious dream.
If so...
... I kinda don't want to wake from it. ❤️
Why didn't God arrange for us to meet & begin our relationship when we _LIVED 30 MINUTES APART,_ instead of now, when we are _A TEN HOUR DRIVE AWAY FROM EACH OTHER?_
I'm not sure--
maybe because I needed to focus on getting my child raised to adulthood, instead of a new relationship?
(I got one chance, & a few short years, to Mother my child;
I have the rest of my life with my Sweetheart;
I know me, & how lonely I was,
& that it would have been far too easy for me to focus on him,
& not give my child everything that a child needs from their Mommy)
maybe because I was still so attached to trying to put my family back together?
( which was never going to happen,
but it took moving 3000 miles away from my ex for me to really accept that,
& to really _FINALLY_ grieve & try to make peace with the end of our marriage,
which I couldn't really do, when we were seeing each other every day,
& keeping our family as intact as possible--
because our child _needed & deserved_ to have *_~BOTH~_*_ Mom & Dad, every single day,_ & to have _as intact, & happy, & functional a family as POSSIBLE_ )
maybe he was still too deep in grief over the end of HIS former-marriage?
maybe my Dad really needed me, & I would not have come, if I had been married to my sweetheart, on the other side of the country?
maybe because my best friend really needed me here when her marriage ended, & she realized how terribly her "husband" had betrayed her?
maybe my Sweetheart needed to be with his family, & they needed him to be with them, when the terrible, terrible tragedy hit his family?
maybe we both had more learning, healing, growing, & evolving to do,
before we could Love & appreciate each other, & our relationship, like we do now?
maybe we could not have Loved each other the beautiful way we do NOW, _THEN?_
maybe we needed two years long-distance to really get to know each other deeply,
& maybe the relationship would have crashed if we had jumped in to it, too deeply, too fast?
maybe we had things to learn from the experiences we had in the time between when we became acquaintance-friends, & when we fell in Love?
maybe reasons that are not yet clear, maybe will not be clear for a long time yet, or until we meet God again?
I don't know.
My man doesn't know.
But, I know that God had, & has, a Plan, & His timing & Arrangement are perfect.
Maybe you are not meant for partnership, in this life.
(However, if you have the DESIRE for a mate, I would guess it's because you are MEANT FOR a mate. ❤️)
But, maybe there is someone right around the corner, waiting for you,
& when you meet him/her/them, all you will be able to say is--
"you were so worth the wait!".💗
I hope & pray that you will find the person & the Love that you are dreaming of.

They can only do but so much with the uncontrollable element of fire. The most important factor was the silence and then the big bang during the Test, since that was a recurring theme in the audio throughout the film during stressful/pivotal moments in Oppie's life. And it made sense to not use CGI since they didn't have CGI back in the 1940s.

Oppenheimer was the first film that I thought could use an intermission 😅 after 2 hours there were no more comfortable positions to sit in that theatre, my legs were completely numb, attention span was maxxed out, never going to see a movie that long in the cinema again 🙈
Some theaters have recliner seats now (that you can even lay all the way flat if you wanted to)
I remember “A Few Good Men” had an intermission and I think it’s GENIUS for loooong movies…

I don't know when they stopped having intermissions during movies. It was somewhere between my mum taking me to see the Cate Bear movie back in 1984 and when my ex took me to the cinema to watch the 1st Harry Potter film lol
I was so excited at going to the ciinema (it had been almost 15yrs since the Care Bear movie lol) So as we were watching HP, around halfway through the film stopped and the lights came on. So here's me thinking, great intermission time I can grab some snacks etc. I said something about that to my other half and he was like wtf?? Intermission?? They haven't done that for years and starts laughing.
Next thing we know, there's a guy stood infront of the big screen making an announcement asking everybody to calm make their way to the front and exit through the fire door and go to the furthest point of the carpark. We are all out in the carpark, freezing and can see all those blue flashing emergency lights. There's police, fire & ambulance are all there. Still nobody knows what's happening. Then the ARMY turn up!! Some date night this was turning out to be lmao
Turns out, some idiot had phoned in a bomb threat to the cinema!! They eventually gave the all clear and we could go back and finish the fil. We were told we could atay to finish thr movie or leave. If we left we could being the ticket stubs in and we'd get free tickets. Anybody staying would get theirs at the end of the movie. We stayed and got our tickets. Then a few days later, he went back with our stubs and got more free tickets 🤣🤣
