Prachi Sharma From how I interpreted it, she means that we are all human & going through the same things. You can see yourself in other people through shared feelings/emotions/experiences ...but many people overlook this & treat her & others disrespectfully because they are going through a rough time or are upset with their own insecurities.

I don't know about you guys but i find her beautiful .. I mean the way I see beauty is when I look at a person I analyse the way this person makes me feel/react. First time when I saw the video it was almost uncomfortable to watch, I mean I'm not used to see people this way. I was too focused on her appearence. It's my second time watching and to be honest I feel like I've known her for my whole life. When I listen to her speak my heart warms inside, she's so bubbly, and real, and honest. This aura she has changed my perception of beauty, like completely. I see all these "beautiful" girls on tv and on the cover of magazines, with their beautiful faces, and beautiful hair etc but I feel nothing, so therefore I see no beauty. I look at Melanie and I want to be her friend, to hug her and tell her that she is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. If you don't agree with me, I suggest you really look at her more than once and you'll get my point..

Maybe people should expose their children to all kinds of people at a very very young age so they aren't uncomfortable around different types of people. I wish everyone could just walk around as they are. I wish I didn't feel like I have to look like this because I'd much rather walk around in kids clothes with no makeup and my hair in chunky braids with my gap teeth and wear crazy clown makeup. "We're all mirrors and I think people tend to, you know, reflect their own bullshit, so I have to remember that if there is anyone says something to me or judge me in a certain way, it's just a reflection of their own issues..whatever they're dealing with"
"When do you feel the most vulnerable?"
"When I'm in love...or when I'm with someone I really care about".
"I've thought about what life would be like without a cleft palate and maybe live life with a full head of hair and..I think I would be really boring. I think it would not be very exciting, not to imply that your lives are unexciting. I don't know, even though I've been through a lot, they're my experiences. And, I like where everything has brought me today. I like where I am"

This woman is absolutely beautiful and I can say this from the bottom of my heart. She has literally opened my eyes to the meaning of beauty and I am so very grateful. If I saw her in person, the first thing I'd do is give her a hug and tell her thank you for her strength and positivity. Thank you so much for making such a powerful yet beautiful video. ❤️❤️❤️

I think Melanie is the most beautiful person because she is confident in her body and that is something you don't see often these days in females. She is the strongest person I have ever met, or at least fell like I've met through this video. Melanie, if you are reading this I want to let you know that you are a huge inspiration to me and that you are more empowering than you can imagine! Huge hugs

Her response to "would you ever trade?" at 10:20 just stopped me in my tracks. When someone asks if I'd ever trade lives with someone else, I just realized that my thought process would be incredibly selfish. I wouldn't immediately consider whether or not it would inflict MY challenges on another person, I'd think about whether trading lives with someone else would be a good outcome for me. Which is shitty, and I guess human nature.
Melanie instantly says that she wouldn't wish her hardships on any other person, saying that she believes she's the only one that could handle them. Even hypothetically, she maintains the strength to burden herself for the sake of another person. Does it really take someone to go through something like this to realize what it takes to be a truly selfless person?

I think it's beautiful how her whole body communicates her emotions, the skin color and veins talk with her voice, gesture and face expression. I was so sorry when she started talking about all the abuse in her past, I can relate to it. But how she truly is shining from inside, all that pain but optimism, shows such a strong person. Much love.

It's absolutely crazy how much more depth and character this girl has acquired through what is surely a very hard life, when compared to the other women in these videos who are overwhelmingly pretentious and narcissistic bimbos. When the interviewer asked her whether or not she would want to "switch" bodies, the interviewee immediately took an empathetic view of the hypothetical recipient of her body before even considering what she wanted. This girl has certainly spun the difficult hand she was dealt into something very special.

i think out of every single one of these videos i can honestly say this one is the one that got me. seeing someone who you know has actually been through a struggle that we cannot comprehend is so emotional. I can't get emotional when I see a pretty girl talking about life? idk. even though what she's saying is inspirational it doesnt get to me that she actually had to go through a tough time. But this girl has unexplainable beauty within her and i can see it! i can feel it when she speaks! its truly unexplainable. I love this video the most out of all!
