- My 2018 Honda Odyssey has put my life and the life of my children in danger two times.
Door latch broke while on the freeway! Died in the snow, stranded for 10 hours!
Battery keeps on dying! 3 times at honda service still not repaired! It is still not working! I want a buy-back asap.
From my neighbor:
The door lock sensor. The tip off is that the door unlocks the doors as you approach, without touching the car or fob. The power drain is that door sensor connecting via radio waves with your fob over and over. They can connect over a great distance. Power drain will continue until fob is out of range or remove fob battery. Took 3 trips over 8 months until a factory engineer visited the dealership. He knew the problem right away. Hope that helps
My neighbor had a similar problem with a 2018/19 Honda Accord.
The problem was a sensor that kept tripping and drawing battery. They took it in multiple times and finally got an engineer out to look at it. The engineer instantly figured out it was some sensor on the door that (if memory serves), has to do with the key fob proximity. They got it fixed and now have no issues.
Thank for sharing man! I was about to get an elite model of this but now I am going to lean more towards Sienna… I hear ur frustration, shame on that dealership manager for not taking the feedback to improve…
I have 2018 and had it for 6 years. And no major issues.
My family is having the same problem! Also some MAJOR problems with the transmission, we recently got contacted by a lawyer for odyssey’s 2018 safety hazards, we are looking into it.
You got it from a 3rd party dealership? It's a big no. It had been abused! Buy only CPO or brand new Hondas!
Thanks for the review Dale Doughback.
I also have a 2018 Odyssey RES + NAV, less than a week after driving off the lot major oil leak. Had to replace the short block. I'm trying to sell my vehicle for a loss to get into something better. Oil hasn't leaked ever since, but all the recalls on this vehicle keeps me on edge while driving it. I'm just hoping something else goes wrong with the engine, so that we can pursue the lemon law. Thanks for posting the problems with this car and how the dealers rip their customers off. The dealers are your best friend until they sell you a car!
I have a 2018 Honda Odyssey as well but haven't had these issues. Yea, there have been recalls, and I just did them as they notified me about them, no issues. I suspect it's incompetence at the dealers in your area. 2018 is the first year of the new Odysseys so there were bound to be issues, but it would seem to me a competent electronics systems mechanic could track down your problem. Maybe you'll need to take it to a highly rated local independent mechanic (not a Honda dealer since they apparently suck in your area). Yea, it would be more money but probably worth it. Or just trade it in for a Sienna.
Reach out to a lemon lawyer. Mine is also 2018 and I'm currently working with Knights law group because of 2 major issue which turned out that the service people at Culver city Honda knew about but told me it was a unique issue they can't figure out. My auto collision mitigation system hard brakes on me while I'm driving out of nowhere. Acceleration delay is another one. I thought I just ended up with a crumby build odessey but turns out tons and tons of odessey owners are having the same issue. Side door latch opening while driving is a new one to me so you seem to have a better case than I do. Good luck.
I have a 2019 with 53,000 miles. No major issues. I just replaced the battery. It is the 3rd one. I bought the AGM battery at Walmart with 4 year free replacement warranty.
GOOD FOR YOU posting this Video. The Dealerships Screwed you over on this! 41k views and counting.
thank you for that information.... I was about to go to the dealership on March but never mind thank David
This is sad to see Honda fall on quality. Almost picked up an Odyssey. Thanks to this video and some research I will be looking at the Sienna.
Thanks for posting the video. Fast forward into 2022, today I went to check out a 2023 model but I only could test drive a 2019 model. During the test ride, everything went smoothly until i was about to get off the highway to return to the dealership, the exact same thing happened to my test drive car. Luckily, I was not far from the dealership and was able to get back slowly under 15miles an hour. Glad it happened during my test drive, otherwise I would have made the deposit check!!! We will be looking into Toyota Sienna.
Now I don’t work for Honda but I own 3 Honda’s the we only had 2 issues with our 2017 Honda Odyssey Touring and that’s it she only had about 8 miles when we bought it which was 5 years ago and now it has close to 190,000 it’s still running like a champ. You won’t have the cabin watch you won’t have adapted cruse control you won’t have hill start you won’t have the electric parking braking you won’t get the vacuum nor (CarPlay/ android auto). It does have parking sensors lane departure warning auto trunk fog lights push button start auto lights auto doors navigation system Bluetooth/usb and aux that’s it. But we’ve owned 2 odysseys 1 that was a 09 it was grate it was a ex-l and we traded that one in for the 2017 Honda Odyssey Touring so just a suggestion.
Legend has it he is still waiting on Honda for help.
What an idiotic comment.. I'd like to see you in the freezing cold with your family.
I think sometimes plugged in devices will drain the battery, the power is supposed to cut off after switching off the engine, but maybe due to a glitch in the system, the power doesn’t get cut off
Wow!!! I was about to get a honda odyssey, I stopped by the dealer today to look at one but after this video I think I'll pass and go with a Toyota or a Tahoe instead. Thanks for the review
Thanks for review. Won't look for odyssey anymore
Thanks for this video. This will save me from wasting my money.
Good data. Dealerships sucks. Thank you for the content. You got lemonade.
Ahhh...now that says it all, and why these odyssey 2018++ are cheap to buy. Thanks so much for this review despite yours and others headaches.
I bought a 2019 Honda Odyssey for my wife and this is 2nd time we have a battery issue, the good think this time it happened at a parking lot, I asked a question on you tube while I’m waiting for Honda road assistance, I found a video explaining how to jump it, because the battery has only the + no negative ground and finally I successfully jumped it, after watching the video on CZcams, my conclusion, and I’ll say briefly, never ever charge phones the engine is NOT running.. if you try to charge your phone in 5 minutes, the engine won’t start😱
Currently dealing with the EXACT same issue with my 2019 EXL Honda Odyssey. I’m on my second battery since buying it brand new, all kinds of electrical issues, and Honda is doing nothing. My dealership quoted me $675 today to replace the AGM battery and the blower vent fan under the battery, which is meant to keep the battery cool. They said they are 75% sure this is the issue. I took it to Auto Zone to see if it threw a code after having to get jump started when it left me and my family stranded. They said it did: P0600, which is emissions system problem. Honda said it didn’t throw a code. So pissed!
if its a brand new car you should be cover by factory warranty , why you dealership charging you money ?
Sorry to hear this bro. Im running 2007 touring model and thing drive like a champ and still peels out when floored on 140000 miles in the clock
Not sure if the comments mentioned this already but most likely this guy is having a problem with his idle stop system. You can get a cancellation module or just remember to turn it off every time. That should stop his battery from being drained. Honda/Acura is facing a class action lawsuit for this.
I really hope they finally just gave you a new van. I have had wonderful experiences with Honda Odysseys. This shouldn't have happened to you.😊
first time didn't listen when wife complained about battery keep dying but definitely 5th gen Odyssey has battery issue keeps draining.
Regarding to battery drain, I recalled there was another youtube video saying the drain came from bluetooth and advice is to not use it. Hope this help.
It’s so hard to deal with dealerships wherein their mechanics could not figure out what’s wrong, I feel you my brother, I would seek legal advice and document everything Im not sure why corporate not helping you, May our Lord keep you and your family safe 🙏
My 2019 odyssey elite did the same thing two days ago my way from Wisconsin to Missouri and was stuck at a gas station for 1 hour. Luckily I jump start my van and it work fine again but still gonna trade it in for a different van now. Can’t be having these problem on road trip not safe.
I have a 2016 Pilot and had a few issues with misfire and fuel injectors. Then I found out it's a common issue with Pilots. Now thinking of trading it in for a minivan but this video is nerve wracking. May be it's time I try another brand. Had a 2006 odyssey that never gave me issues in 16 years of ownership. They are build like before I guess.
The injector issue is most likely a simple cleaning issue. Our odyssey had same issue until I found out they are using GDI engines so basically the valves don’t have fuel flow over them to enter the engine, so fuel additives don’t help. They put a special tube atop the engine and it uses a $15 bottle of cleaner every 20k miles. Fixed my problem immediately that I had for a year and hasn’t come back.
28k miles and you’re having to deal with this shit is crazy. All these electronics is what keeps me from ever “upgrading” my 2017 accord. It’s the last gen without a turbo or all the lane keep sensors
I am now having the same problem with my 2018, This is my 3rd Odyssey and the worst and last.
Alternator problem, a bad diode on it discharge the battery completely, replace the alternator, or install a kill switch when parking for long periods!
Did you get a new alternator?
I just bot a 2023 Odyssey Touring. Hope I didn't get a bad one...
I recently acquired a 2006 Odyssey, and found something that can help you as I have done a round of DIY fix (I do my own car repair). My gut feel is the battery drain from the rear power sliding door, and interior light (if door not latched, then this light will turn on). To determine whether I am correct, (1) disconnect fuse of the power sliding door (2) turn off interior ceiling lights
Once you confirmed that I am right, then I can comment further. If you are frustrated to wait for my help, then leave the fuse disconnected (no power sliding door, no interior light), and the battery will stop draining immediately.
In other word, battery drained is common for Odyssey due to lubrication drying up, or a microswitch (it uses a small switch which its electronic term is microswitch) broken. So this is not just happen to your 2018 model, but to all Odyssey since older model. Downgrade to older Odyssey won't fully address it, but identify and lubricate the gear or microswitch is the right path approach.
As an owner of even older Odyssey I agree with you that the drain might be connected to the door, but not necessary to the interior light, because it might be off with the door closed but still unlatched - this is based on my experience with Odyssey doors. On the other hand his van has less than 30K miles, it is almost brand new car by the standard of used cars and it should have no such problems whatsoever. Also, I read a forum of Ody owners the other day and I was amazed with a number of posts about transmission problems. Starting from the very first generation of these vans in 2000 and up to the last generation of 2020 Honda was unable to make a reliable transmission. It is 20 years!!! And for 20 years owners have been facing the same problem - failing transmissions. I think this is all that a person should know when choosing a new or used Honda.
I have 2019 Honda Odyssey. My wife does mainly stop and go traffic and rarely hwy miles to get alternator time to recharge the battery. Therefore I bought a Noco Genius2 smart charger to top off the battery every month - problem solve. I like the idea so much that I top of my 2009 Honda Pilot AGM battery every month too. Wish I would've used Noco to top off batteries years ago since it will keep your batteries in top condition and extend life. It's worth the effort in my opinion.
I hope you're having better experience with your 2018 Honda Odyssey and sorry to hear about your bad experiences and totally understandable your concerns.
Do you take terminals off while charging? Any damage to electrical system possible while charging if terminals are still connected while charging? It's an hassle to take terminals off and enter radio code / clock adjustment etc.
Exactly. AFAIK some early models don't come with AGM batteries but the regularly ones that will drain FAST if they are constantly idling and not maintained.
Tons of recalls on this car. They need to fix the transmission issu!!
Most of people do not know car. Low voltage battery (under normal level) would cause all electric problems, which it means the battery is needed to be replaced. All cars cannot be recharged or even drained too much while driving. It is included interior electronic, headlight, ac, auto start off function… etc.
Regarding to bad reviews, that has happened to me before where the dealership refused to work with me despite the review was truthful.
What's the status now? I'm having the same problem. What is the fix???
What about rear air conditioning. People say is really bad during summer because is only vents near the doors and nothing on the ceiling. What is your experience?
I have 2018 Odyssey Elite and the van turned off while on freeway with my wife and four daughters. Thank God I was able to pull over to the median. Van restarted and was able to make it home. Called dealership and they said they hadn’t heard about these problems but that chances are it’s an electrical problem.
Same issues my 2016 Odyssey shut off also while driving on the freeway and the dealership said they cannot duplicate. So dangerous cause all electrical disappeared and I pulled over luckily and was able to restart it after holding down the radio button for 2 seconds.
I have the same issue on my 2020 odyssey
My wife had an issue when she got off the freeway and the van went into park. 2018 Honda odyssey elite
@@marcospadilla9819 possibly due to loose battery terminals. There was a recall.
Although I did not have problems as bad as yours, I did have similar issues on my 2018 Honda Odyssey. The problem turned out to be something really dumb, and the fix very easy. It was a loose battery connection. I discovered this after reading some forum posts with other owners with the same problem. I checked my battery connection and sure enough it was slightly loose and not set correctly on the terminal. Once I reseated it on the terminal and tightened it really good so it would not move or wiggle at all, I have had zero issues.
Thanks for sharing this!
There was a recall for loose battery terminals.
I'm really disappointed in Honda not addressing your issues!
Thank you for sharing :)
I have a 2019 Honda Odyssey elite. I haven’t driven in six months parked in my driveway. I use my work vehicle brand new battery I put in six months ago. The car won’t start now.
I have a 2018 EX-L (purchased in Dec 2017) in Houston, I am about to be on my third battery, and i too travel with a portable jumpstart battery and heavy duty jumper cables taking up one of the cubbies in the back. The Dealership, likewise keeps on saying everything is within spec, oh but we can see here now that you have a bad cell in your battery. Well i am out of my 36m warranty so batteries are on me now, fortunately i purchased Honda Care Extended Warranty, so hopefully one day they will figure out the electrical gremlin that is causing so much frustration. I can only imagine that having the extended warranty is going to be the equivalent to having flood insurance during the Harvey Flooding. Cheers and Good luck to the fellow owners.
**EDIT: the following solution applies to models with incandescent headlights. I am not sure if it works with models with LED headlights**
TL;DR- DRIVING WITH HEADLIGHTS ON IS THE SOLUTION. Feel free to read on and learn about the problem... The unusually shitty charging system in this Honda model is supposed to be a feature but it's actually a flaw. The foolish charging system is designed to improve fuel economy, the unintended consequence of which is shortened battery life. The god awful charging system allows the system to starve at about 12.3V I have personally found while driving, unless there is a large current draw, or if the battery is really getting drained to a point where it's about to die. You can overcome this ridiculous charging system by driving with your HEADLIGHTS ON all the time. I know this because I checked it out with an OBD2 meter that gives a running voltage measurement while driving. After I replaced my battery I saw that the car was running at 12.3 volts unless I turned my fan on all the way high or if I drove with my headlights on. With a large current draw you can see the voltage go up to 14.1. Initially I was baffled by this and after doing a lot of research I found that Honda uses an assinine dual mode charging system. I also spoke to a mechanic who said the alternators have clutches so that at certain points they're not even spinning. All in the name of fuel economy at the cost of our safety.
I was literally looking at this Van before I saw your video too. Thanks for the review. I'm probably better off with a Toyota Sienna.
An odyssey is grate minivan it’s just he got a demo minivan is what happened so ask before buying.
I hope you went with the sienna because my 2020 has the same issue I have had over 5000 views on my problems
That battery thing was a warranty issue. There is a plug that is not connected properly
I have a 2018 Odyssey Elite, purchased in September 2017. It sucks. I've had to take it in for so many recalls, so many issues. Still taking it in.
Thank you for this video. I was a Honda fan, with the Honda Fit, Accord, and Civic. We had A/C issue with our Civic… and thought about getting an Odyssey, but I’ll be looking at a Toyota Sienna.
Can this all due to loose battery wire. Have someone find a solution. Thinking of buying 2018 Odyssey and this is making me worry to switch to Sienna
I have a 2012 odyssey that is very dependable.
If you ask me, you should trade it off for a 2015 or older.
My 2012 Oddy exl still runs like a champ. Bought the car from a small dealership at 142k miles. That was since 2019 of Oct. Now it's 2023, I'm at 216k miles. I've done alot of driving and ofc, some repairs and replacements. New batteries, new front control arms, new steering rack, new wheel hub/wheel bearings, new axles, new inner and outter tie rods, new brake kits, new sway bar links, new suspensions, new power steering high pressure hose, new tires, new coils, new spark plugs, and vcm muzzled. All these I self done. I do the work knowing what I've done. ofc, next things to be ahead of the problems to do are the valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, water pump, timing belt, new cat, and finish up with rear new control arms, new rear toe arms, new sway bar bushings, new serpentine belt, and new idle tensioner. Just basic things after 200k. No worries of electrical problems or whatsoever. Just maintenace wise things. Might seem like alot but I prefer to stay ahead of the problems. Doing my own oil changes and transmission flush saves me money and time. Shooting for 1Million miles for a free newer Oddy in the future.
Battery issues are common in other cars as well if you keep display on for long. Ideally if sitting inside car, Odyssey keep this display on which consume lot of battery power and eventually drain the battery or weak the battery prematurely if you have a habit to keep display on to listen radio etc. Other recalls for sliding doors are already there. Battery issues cause other warning displays which are again linked to driving habits in my opinion.
Car should have enough current to power the system AND charge the battery at idle. It’s not the screen. I’d look at the voltage and amps the alternator puts back. Possibly replace a serpentine belt if it slips.
They are legendary in a Honda Odyssey. Do NOT use Honda Batteries. They replaced my Odyssey battery with a 650 Amp battery. #WTF The Odyssey battery should be at least 750-850 for a 3.5 Odyssey. I got one at AutoZone that has over 900 cold cranking amps! You need a powerful battery for these cars!
@@ccsocal768 Good idea. Let us know how this Autozone battery holds in long run.
We have the same problem, I have 2019 Odyssey with 28,000 miles just got back from Anaheim. We were 3hrs away from home went at the rest area because of the kids when we’re about to leave started the van and all the problems you have shown showed up on ours as well. Just had our service about a month before hand everything was good until our trip. Crazy thing is we didn’t even use the van the whole time we on our trip, thanks for the video .
Same issue with my 2019 Odyssey Elite at 22k. Can't jump start the van cause the type of battery that the Odyssey start/stop feature. I didn't care to call Honda Road Side Service. I called the dealership service dept where I bought the car. They told me to have the car tow in for them to diagnose the issue but will not replace the battery without being diagnose. Heck no, no time for that! Went to Advance Auto and purchased a DieHard Platium AGM myself which cost me $250ish tax included. The van been running like a champ! Also, whenever I start my van I turn off the idle-stop feature. Yes, that does use up your battery! Also, Honda using cheap batteries for their vehicles. When you take your car to the dealership, they'll replace the same cheap battery but charging you a premium.
I have a 2019 and the only issue I've had is the random voltage drain. Yesterday I drove to my brother's house and helped him move a couple things around. 15 minutes later I tried to start it to drive home and the battery didn't have enough voltage to start it.(12.1v)
I'm not sure what's causing this intermittent issue, but I'm going to call Honda about it soon. There's no way the battery should be draining immediately after a drive.
Update: it ended up being a dead cell in the battery.
I got exactly the same issue today. Someone helped jump start my car and I replaced the battery at Autozone. I bought my odyssey in 2017 and the battery I replaced was the 2nd one Honda installed under warranty service in 2019.
Good news we have the 2020 Honda Odyssey exl not the 2019/2018 so there is one problem to the 2020 it’s the backup camera not available so good news we don’t have the 2019/2018 so that’s super good
Did they fix your car now?
Horrible I hope they fix it. I just bought a 2024.
It's super easy to do a diagnosis on this vehicle and find out if there is in fact a parasitic drain. 60 milliamps is a little high should be something like no more than 50 milliamps and under. Put an amp clamp on the negative battery, time out the vehicle so all the modules go to sleep. Start measuring voltage drop across the fuses. Half these idiots today in these dealerships don't even know how to do that.
Hi, did they helped you?
My 2016 honda odyssey has so much issues as well. Dash lights gremlin, rear sliding suddenly opened on while the car is parked with engine shut off, security alarm randomly went off. I was very frustrated. Brought the van to dealer twice for same issues, and they said that they find an issue. I took the van and next day it happened again. I opened a case with Honda Headquarter of America twice in 2021 and March 2022.
I have a 2018 Odyssey bought brand new and I have no issues so far, 30.000 going strong, I love my van
I love the van but were is the gear shift
Just replaced transmission on our 2018 Odessey…Honda Service explains it’s a 9 speed transmission…has to be replaced in the first 40k then every 80k! Another concern, our door latch will reopen automatically when closing! Checked and replaced the mechanism but still happening!

105k in the book and 120k is viable. Did my 07 ex-l at 129k and 12 years old. Belt looked new. But yeah its expensive service and wait till the valve service, woo hoo thats a lotta work
Im going through this now as we speak....first my ignition got stuck got that fixed then the alternator went out fixed then the new battery bcus it wouldn't keep charge kept breakin down theeeeen the brake light went out got fixed nooow my abs and tcs light keeps coming on and i can drive maybe 5 miles and get to my destination and car wont start up right away........i have no understanding on whats going on with mines !!!!! 03 honda odessey
Qe went to chickfilet and spent 45 minutes in the parking lot and the battery on our drained and we could not figure it out until I looked down and realized both seat heaters were on low. And that is what killed ours. We have a 2018 Oddessey Ex in white also
I was going to buy a 2019 Odyssey until this video reminded me of the electrical and transmission problems I had with my used 2008 Honda. Not so sure now.
I have a 2019 Honda Odyssey, the car's electrical system completely reboots and then immediately shifts into park WHILE driving. The grinding of metal during this is horrific, no less the chance of an accident... It only has 15k miles on it.
Awww I really wanted this car 😢
Thank you for the review. I'm a long term Toyota owner and never had any serious issues with my vehicles. Was looking to get brand new Honda Odyssey because of Sienna shortage, but after watching many reviews on Honda, NO THANK YOU. Honda has no place in my garage.
😂😂🤣

Right
The lemon law is hard has to be 3 same repairs to be considered then u have to go threw corporate lawyers. Smh what a failure with Honda all these years then u produce this trash
Yup, two times with the same issue and you can use a lemon lawyer. Keep all receipts.

has it been fixed?
2018 to 2019 have electrical defact. I have similar issue when car shut down in the highway. Static sound on the speaker even the audio not on. They have to replace harness and infotaintment system.
Mine is a 2020 and I have bin in the dealer 5 times for the same problem
david, what happened after this?
I was so exited about to get an 20018 odyssey reading this i dont know what to do.
I wish I had seen this video before I bought my 2022 Odyssey last week. 330 Miles and the transmission crapped out heading out on vacation. Not impressed. I debated purchasing the Sienna, wish I did now.
What have you done now?
2019 my transmission is toast at 15k miles
damn
I am thinking of getting 2023, but seems there a lot of transmission issues. I love everything else, but I don’t worth spending so much to have 50/50 chance of transmission going out.
Thank you for sharing, I have odyssey 2018. They have a lot of issues
thank you i change my my now
Thanks for this honest review. I was thinking about getting this van too. I’m curious what happened to your van now? Did they fix it? Get your a new one? Would love to hear any updates.
These are minor issues. actual issue is transmission issue. Buy 2021 or newer years as they have 10 speed transmission which is much better in terms of acceleration from stop compared to 8 speed ones in lower trims of 2018, 19 & 20.
@@atifkhalid9655Wow 10 gears sounds like too many gears. My 2005 Jetta is only 6 gears and runs great. Other transmissions issues beside acceleration?

Other the door cables broke and now 4-4-2024 transmission problems start . 149xxx M.
dealership probably put a tracker on it and wired it in somewhere poorly and now its drawing power steadily.
I’m commenting because I want this to be taken up as a major lemon law issue. I too have had an assortment of electrical problems/malfunctions; doors /windows operating on there own, car suddenly losing all electrical power, battery dead. The dealership (Larry H Miller) gives the impression that they think it’s funny how many times I’ve had a new battery put in. Since it’s too costly to fight and Honda doesn’t seem to care one but I’m going to trade it in while it’s hopefully running. Honda really should be refunding money or replacing vehicles. There’s thousands of people with this problem.
I have a 2019. Only problem I had was transmission needed to be replaced cause it conked out at 35000. You got stuck with a lousy dealership though.
Keep video up until Honda takes care of you.
I Had The Same Problem Once, U Should Get An Older Model
Can you imagine I have a Chrysler Pacifica hybrid been good for a couple years and Hondas are breaking down? What is this world coming to?
Honda quality standard is not like before .....
My 2019 odyssey transmission went out under 100k miles. No warranty. Factory warranty only 60k miles
What you should do is get the all new Toyota Sienna
It’s a great family car if it hasn’t this “battery drain problem”
I have a 2018. One day we go family lunch and when we are done car won’t start. Battery all drained.
Turned out it has a so-called “auxiliary mode” meaning you can use the electronics without starting the engine. Bad deal! It drew so much current that it had no juice left to start the engine again. You go to that mode if you press the start button without pressing the brake fully and completely! Thus You may go to that mode unknowingly and everything screwed up from that point on.
Now I never go to that “dead mode” and I carry a handy portable jump starter which has proven to be a life saver. So far so good.
Wow, the older model doesn’t have this mode.
Nice to know thanks
If your battery drained too far its damaged and it only gets worse.
You would think the vehicle would have battery low voltage protection.
I would check the connections to the alternator but even then why in the freaking world?! You should've sued honda and make em big bucks 😎
My 2018 odyssey its been on the workshop al least 6 times for (door, water leak, in side camera, that’s with out the recalls on this car ) I hate this car and Honda too
We bought Ex 2019 Odyssey brand new. First rain and the water made its way into the trunk area. Now the first snow with temperatures below freezing, the sensors are going crazy, central unit going black, car accelerates on its own with cruise absolutely off. Android Auto always has issues connecting with the unit. I use S20 and Note 9, no issues with the phones itself. Given what I paid, this is a top quality trash, will be trading with something that delivers.
