Great choice of song. One of my favorites as well. He died too young with so much more music left to write and preform but glad we have these performances to rewatch🙏🏻❤️

I love his songs. His concert here in Germany in 1980 live for all of Europe is an absolute cult. The Krauts going crazy. Me Too! The beginning of the concert with Natural Mystic is pure goose bumps. He died a year later.

Yes, he was wise and free thinking. Unfortunately he died way too young. I remember the news about his death but I was too young to go and see him live.

Greetings from Bonnie Scotland - My favourite artist, Bob Marley, please check out the Tribute to Bob Marley - 'The Marley Family' singing "Could You Be Loved' and a further request to you "Yeke Yeke" - Mory Kante and Carlos Santana.

I add my recommendation for Ye Ke Ye Ke - one of the many versions by More Kante. The one with Carlos Santana is great.

The lines in the song that you mentioned mean a lot to me. Trying to remember the in-between. Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our mind. 😀

i believe he refused the amputations because it would go against his religious beliefs to remove a part of his body
