Bob is one of the best performers ever. This was a huge song for him so I’m surprised you haven’t heard it.
Every song he wrote/sang had meaning and we could all learn a lot from him. He was taken too soon but his music will live on forever. One love, Jah Bless 💚💛🖤
Bob Marley was one of the greatest messengers to walk this Earth.
Bob the GOAT. A musician, a philosopher and philanthropist a Prophet..that’s Bob Marley!
Oooooooohhhh my Goooooooodness, this is awesome and classic that cannot go away. Your channel is on point guys
I pity those who don't get Bob, saw an met him in 1980, we shared a spliff,
Listen to the words of his songs we are living it
One of my favorite artists! My favorite live footage is from the "Blue Whistle Test." Other than that, I would recommend studio versions. Live versions are usually more drawn out, which can bore someone who is still learning the songs. Marley brings a lot of passion to his songs. He was a true rebel, a freedom fighter. He has a lot of very political songs, and those are my favorites.
More Bob! War/No More Trouble, the Heathen and Trenchtown Rock, or really any other song from this 1977 performance for starters.
Trenchtown got its name from the trenches that raw sewage would flow down. Most people, I think, are just not aware to genuinely appreciate the raw and inprovished environment that Trenchtown was, and in some ways still is.
This is probably the most interesting review I've seen you Bois do to date. I was really surprised to hear you name classic Marley songs at the beginning, but never heard this one. This is the song that I always think of as the quintessential Bob Marley song that defines his sound. Strange how that works differently between everyone!
Yeah, its kinda sad how little of Bob Marley and the Wailers that I know... Especially since I love reggae. I did forget to mention 3 little birds, and im sure there are some others that I've heard, that i didn't realize was Marley. 😅 -Joel
The guitar in every song from this concert will blow you away. If this was to chill for you, I recommend “Lively Up Yourself” live from the Rainbow Theatre ✌🏻
I think the only reason it was making Chuckles sleepy is because it was suuuuper late when we were checking it out lol
But this one has been stuck in my head since I heard it. 🙃 -Joel
I also agree the lead guitar in this show was 🔥. Also in the song "the Heathen" .
Are you lads out of your mind? Bob Marley is the goat.
I'm surprised you know some Marley but not this; it was huge.
I'd love to see you guys review Punky Reggae Party because I doubt you've heard that and I think it'd be cool to see your take.
Jammin and Stir It up were also huge.
The studio version isn't as repetitive, but yeah, in every live version the intro lasts forever.
Absolute classic!
Gotta love those vibes! -Joel
🎉🇨🇦🇯🇲❤️ he died at 36 so maybe the same age or younger
