This is…maybe my favorite song by them. I even like the Malibu part. This album had a lot of bangers though, definitely my favorite album of theirs. Kielbasa, Explosivo, etc. All the other albums I’ve heard have 1-3 songs I like on them, but even the ones I don’t like, I still think are good songs. Plus Jack Black is a personal hero of mine lol. I’d kill to have 1% of the creative talent and musical skill he has…hell, even just his killer voice. And he still manages to be a super sweet dude despite being the incredible artist and hugely successful entertainer he is. Thanks lostmotel! I Love this band, I saw them live 3 times last year 6 times in total. (coincidentally I'm wearing a T shirt of theirs From Dropkick/Interrupters 2023 summer tour. ) If you're down to clown with new era ska music HEAVILY influenced by Tim Armstrong, this is a band for you.

This song was part of the soundtrack of the film P.S. I love you. The theme is about someone that's passed on and left his significant other to figure things out just like in the film where Holly( Hillary Swank ) is left to figure things out after her husband Gerry( Gerald Buttler)passes on leaving her letters to help her move on and go on with her life. Just a little nice detail that I thought was worth mentioning

The kids vocals were done by Fat Mike’s daughter, his stepdaughter who is older and red the verse, and Tony slys daughter who is the same age as Mike’s daughter Darla.

My favorite part about this song is that huge crazy build that just fizzles out into almost nothing, I think its very emblematic of the story the song is telling. Everyone expects a broken relationship to build and build and build to this fever pitch where there is a massive blowout and people are screaming at each other. But sometimes that doesnt happen, sometimes everything is almost background noise, until one day one party just decides they've had enough and leaves.
