✔ IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT HYDROQUINONE AND INGREDIENTS:
I know this is an important topic, so I want to be very transparent about it. When I originally looked at the ingredients of the peel, it did not include hydroquinone (in both the professional level and home level peel products). When I did some research online, I found conflicting information where some Cosmelan peels DID include hydroquinone and some DID NOT. I called Beauty Park where I had my peel done to ask about this, and the receptionist didn't know so she planned to ask around the office. She never got back to me, so what I recommend is that you ask about the full ingredient list before you get the peel done at your local spot (medical spa, dermatologist office, etc.) Make sure to educate yourself about what you're putting on your skin and make sure you are 100% comfortable before moving forward! If I hear back from Beauty Park, I will be sure to update this section!

Every procedure I think takes time and unfortunately nothing is a quick fix! Beauty is pain lol.. I don’t like putting anything that has fragrance on my skin either! I have had good results with a Kojic acid and Tranexamic acid serum. I also use an azelaic acid cream from the ordinary Also sunscreen, sunscreen sunscreen. I still have a couple of stubborn spots, but most of my melasma has finally faded almost all the way. If I forget sunscreen even one day, though, it’s quite noticeable and I feel like I’m almost starting over from scratch.

I was surprised to hear it was your first peel, you look great. I'm curious if you used to wear sunscreen during your 30s. Do you have a video about your beauty journey?
I did wear it in my 30s, but not much in my 20s. I don't have a beauty journey video younger than 40 since I started my channel when I turned 40.
I have been using the Droplette Tranexemic Eraser and have seen some good results the dark marks on my face. I took care of some scars on my cheeks (note: I previously did a series of at-home TCA peels) and darkness on my upper lip. I do the TE treatment 3 times a week and it costs $60 a month. Spendy, yes but I don’t anticipate using it for years.

I already filmed my 30 day update. I am still using it almost every day. My hair dresser said this week that my hair felt and look a lot thicker and I told her it was from my laduora! Were you looking for another update? I don't know what else I would say?
I would say it looks about 50% lighter which is honestly great for a month or 2 of treatment.

The name of this peel is in the name of the video. It’s called Cosmelan. I also talked about how much it cost in this video if you want to go back and rewatch it and see what I said as I don’t remember the exact number but you can hear me say it in this video. You can get this done at a medical spa near you if you’re not in Los Angeles
The area around my mouth hurt like CRzy after the Cosmelan 1. Corners of my mouth cracked. So dry and crispy around my lips. I’m using the Cosmelan 2 only 3 times a week. Trying the apply very lightly near my lips. I’m on day 22. So far so good.

Hi - your video is great, but you mentioned that you cannot buy the Cosmelon peel over the counter, online, etc. This is not true. You can get the full kit of the Cosmelon peel at a number of online sites as I did and it is the exact same product my dermatologist showed me. I paid $390 for the full kit of: Cosmelon 1 and 2 plus the oil removing pre-wash along with the recovery cream and the sunscreen. Many will tell you that this peel costs $800 and it does not. Just so you know!!!

@@Mo34565 no it did not fade it completely for me. You can watch this video to see my before and after pictures. The results last as long as you completely stay out of the sun or keep your skin away from heat or don’t have hormone fluctuations. Melasma is very tricky and has many triggers so it’s not going to last forever, which is why I’m going to do it every year.
