    Awesome video. I get very aggravated with posters who skip or miss install steps. You have covered it all. Terrific.

    Any idea if this canister can be run through an upfitter switch so that I don’t have to use the remote key fob?

    I was wondering if this cover will still operate well if I covered it with an auto wrap to make it look like carbon fiber???

    How much are these units and can they be customized in width? I'm thinking of using one for a retractable boxspring for a short bus conversion. It would allow for the back bedroom area to retract fully for more space when desired.

    It would have been nice if the light button would have turned the light on and off. It only turns the light on and you have to wait 4 minutes for it to go off.

    Seems kinda silly. Buy a truck, put this giant ass canister in and run wiring to basically turn it into a full time SUV. Just get a tri-fold cover you can take on and off in 5 seconds so you can still use your truck as a truck

    • @AutoCustomsCom
      @AutoCustomsCom  Před 7 lety +2

      Kevin Barr all tonno covers kind of turn your truck into a SUV. This one just makes it easier to open and close. Bet you have A/C in your truck. That is like having a house. Trucks are for work so why have A/C? See the point. What some of us think as being unnecessary luxuries others think of as comforts.

    • @kevinbarrsie
      @kevinbarrsie Před 7 lety

      Auto Customs trucks are for work, exactly. Seems like a giant waste of space to me. Not sure I get the A/C reference haha. To each his own. It's a very cool function but that huge wasted space in the bed is a deal breaker

    • @grahamcouture6786
      @grahamcouture6786 Před 7 lety

      Kevin Barr sometimes you need to carry a lot of stuff, and it doesn't all fit in the cab, but you don't want it flying out of your truck bed. That's why people have tonneau covers. And the trifold covers aren't always great because if you need to use your whole bed, you either need to completely take it off and store it somewhere, keeping in mind that it's not exactly small, or you have to have it blocking your entire back window, making it hard to keep an eye on the cargo in the bed or on vehicles behind you.
