    As mentioned by another on this thread, glutamine is useful for reducing and eliminating cravings for alcohol and sugar. (Although, he mentions specifically alcohol and tobacco.) It is part of a supplement stack developed to rebuild brain chemistry.

      @@bettyausten9533 I've tried it and it seems to reduce my cravings for alcohol and sugar (I don't know about smoking because that's not something I do and need to overcome). However, I find it's better to use it as one component of a supplement stack (which I learned of through another YT channel on overcoming unhealthy use of alcohol; I'm generally reluctant to provide pointers from one CZcams channel through another, but if you really need the info, respond and I will provide it, as the information has been very beneficial to me).
      The use of glutamine has been reported as beneficial in a book whose name I'll provide in an update to this comment after I return to my residence and I have it in front of me.

    Thank you Ryan for your very helpful videos, I always look forward to hearing them. I do have a question about supplementing with L- Glutamine which I was happily doing till I heard from another online practitioner that Cancer feeds on L- Glutamine! Have you or any of your followers ever heard of this? Is there any cause for concern? Would love to hear anyone's thoughts on this. With Thanks...

      Hi Dianne, yes cancer feeds on glutamine but this does not mean that glutamine causes cancer. If you are otherwise healthy then glutamine is very beneficial 🙏☺️

    Have question : is there any relationship between L- Glutamine and tinnitus in the ear 👂...if you have so much of it there will I heard alot of retain of this amino acid will cause ringing in the ear

    • @RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies
      @RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies  Před 3 lety +6

      Hi Juliat, I don't have any data to back up this theory. However, I have found that Benfotiamine (a fat soluble version of Vitamin B1) helps reverse nerve damage to the inner ear and get rid of tinnitus and ringing. 🙏

      I suffered tinnitus for a long time, until I started taking Gingko Bilboa tablets. The tinnitus is cured but I continue taking it. It is an excellent antibiotic. Important you cut down on salt intake. Kurkurma also said to help. Good luck👍.

      Indeed, by healing the intestines, it prevents toxins from leaking in from the gut and causing the autoimmune reaction of arthritis. A fair point. 💚

    Ryan- the instructions on my glutamine bottle says to take it on an empty stomach - here you're suggesting to take it with food for better absorption - I have come across these conflicting ways for taking other supplements - I suppose it really comes down to whether the active ingredient is hydrophilic or hydrophobic, and the charged nature of the glutamine molecule at 4:47 would suggest it's hydrophilic and would be better taken on an empty stomach?
