I learned some things as I was applying the film. If you don't have a space to lay out the film to measure it, or don't want to use a sharp blade on your table, unfold the box it came in and use that. Don't over work the film, follow the directions, then walk away, chasing every tiny bubble will not help and can damage the film. Pressing harder while squeezing the film will not get out more bubbles, just risk damaging the film. Some bubbles will dissipate in time if you just let it be.
Might be good to point out that the knife WILL NOT scratch the glass, so you can cut it right on the glass as shown in the video. Just don't try cutting it with carbide....
@@vancouverbill - Normal steel will not scratch glass because glass is harder. Carbide or maybe some other extra hard metals can scratch glass. Get a sharp knife and try it.
I’m both their printed and online tutorial hey say to spray soapy water. Ummmm, concentration ratio. Also, don’t go handling the film with your oily hand and get fingerprints all over the film.
My thoughts exactly. We’ve just fitted frosted film but the film was clear here. We used the same technique for our frosted film and came here for tips

Thank you this was the best video I've seen on this so far, Clear, concise and to the point.
Great video, very helpful tips! Made installing window film a lot easier.
That dog at the end is very cute 😂

I have window tint on windows now but its like 70% Can I put this kinda tint over the other tint ?
Great video but was the film frosted or opaque as it looked clear. What was the point of fitting it?
Tinted
You can’t see inside

Is it possible to just use water instead of soap and water mix...I plan on using for aquarium and don’t want to use soap?
It can also be used with pure water.
How long will it stay?

I didn't understand this part, wouldn't a metal knife scratch a glass window?
