    Thanks for the video. Really informative. I figured it was pretty self-explanatory but it's always nice to watch someone else do a thing first. I would recommend buying a size that is big enough to cover in one piece.

    • @ReggieTECH
      @ReggieTECH  Před 3 lety +1

      It all depends on what kind of film it is. If it is a static cling film you will need to use the soapy water solution. If it actually has adhesive then you shouldn't use the soapy water solution. Best thing to do is follow the instructions for the product.
      Hope this helps!

      It does help with retaining heat however your windows frames also come into play with the cold. Most times the draft comes from the seams of the window or the border of the frame. Check to see if your feeling the draft and if not these will help insulate the glass itself

    • @ReggieTECH
      @ReggieTECH  Před 3 lety +4

      Hi, I would say try to apply it using the soapy water solution and then use a hair dryer on hot. Don't put it directly on the film, but instead about 6 inches. This should help the film flatten out and should also help it to stick.

    Nothing to do with the film, but why do people under 30 keep pronouncing the word as "thee" for everything? It's pronounced "THA" unless it precedes a word starting with a vowel. (THA windowfilm. THEE answer.) Did they stop teaching English in schools?
    Sorry for the language rant. Good instructions here - just all the THEES are driving me a little nuts. :)
