- Cycle Touring Alaska to Argentina | Washington - Olympic Discovery Trail & Hoh Rainforest
During this video we are cycle touring our final days in Washington. Follow us along as we continue cycling on the Washington Peninsula and explore different areas of the Olympic National Park and Forest.
We cycle on the beautiful and amazing Olympic Discovery Trail, explore the Hoh Rainforest with its tremendous spruce trees, walk along Ruby Beach, and finally discover the former Columbia River Quarantine Station.

That is a long way. All away to Argentina. Amazing adventure 👍
Hello Thomas!! Thank you for following along and keeping in touch. Yes we still have a long way to go! Stay tuned. ;-) ~Ron
Look forward to the next one 😃
Hello Stephen and many thanks for following along. Cheers! ~Ron
I cycled those trails on my Washington trip - absolutely superior trails!!
Hello OcRipCurrent! Right on. We never knew you made it this far north on your cycling adventures. Yes the ODT is a wonderful route for sure. It is sad when it ends and you're back out on the 101 though! Isn't your season coming to an end your way and it's time to enjoy some time off? ~Ron
Heino poster at the end 🤣
Greetings from Aachen, Germany, love your videos!
Love your videos! I'm interested in your navigation, do you have a predetermined route that you plug into a cycling computer and follow or is it more on the fly? Also love the Co-Motion's, I have a Divide with the Rohloff and love it! Would love to do some of this trip someday! Thanks for posting!
Thank you Rob for the compliment and for following along. Co-Motions make great bikes and we love ours too. We've owned ours since 2012 and this is their second major tour. As for navigation, we have a general idea of the route we want to go, but it's always open for changes. Nothing is set in stone and nothing is programmed into our GPS or phones. :-) Are you wanting to bike tour Alaska too or just Washington or are you wanting to cycle the Americas? ~Ron
@@PedalPowerTouring I’m in Southern California so I would like to do a tour of the west coast starting in Washington and ending in Orange County where I live (I’ve done Orange County to San Diego already). After that I’d love to cycle across the country to the East Coast. I’m 60 now and will be retiring soon so I will wait until then so I’m not rushed. Thanks again for the great videos!
@@LagunaRider1961 awesome! Yeah wait until you're retired and enjoy your tour. In 2015, we cycle from San Diego back to Florida after arriving in LA from Vietnam. Cycling across the southwest we found a whole new respect for the early settlers coming west! :-)
@@PedalPowerTouring sounds like an awesome trip! I’m definitely retiring while I’m still able to do these longer ones. Thanks again for the awesome videos! 👏👏
@@LagunaRider1961 sounds like a plan! Life is short so start knocking out the bucket list items while you can. And thank you for following along and the compliments.
