Cycling Alaska to Argentina | Big Sur, Seals, Cycling Family of 4, & Southern California [EP17]

- After leaving Pfeiffer Big Sur State park, we continue cycling down the windy California Pacific Coast Highway.
The views along the Big Sur are stunning and we stop frequently to enjoy the scenery and wild life.
Follow us along, as we accidentally become part of a triathlon race and eventually find our way through the maze of cycling paths along the famous beaches of Malibu, Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach, and Los Angeles.
Unfortunately, as traffic picks up and hiker/biker sites become less available in the more urban areas, we find ourselves cycling longer and faster miles each day as we leave Los Angeles and tour toward San Diego.

Great video, those Minis took me back 35 years ago I had the first one in line the clubman estate and the same colour !

The PC 1 looked amazing. My S2000 will have to follow your breadcrumbs. I feared for my life in a car on I-5. Glad you 2 survived it.

So you did all of the pacific coast route? Or also parts of the Sierra Cascades?
Hello Erik. Yes pretty much from Bellingham, Washington to San Juan Island, around the Olympia Peninsula and then down to San Diego. We did not cycle inland at all on this trip, one there were way too many fires and two everyone we met said we had to see the coast. It's all good and we'll return cycle more of that area. I am already thinking Dempster Highway and the Great Divide Route. :-) Happy cycling! ~Ron
