Pretty dang amazing. I still have a hard time fathoming this whole thing. It's really just amazing.
In so many ways.
Thank you Rudy and thank you for following along!! Yeah we have a hard time with it too. ;-) Take care! Ron & Petra
SO happy to hear from you. Just so you know, this grandma worries about you two! Your videos are terrific ! Makes me feel like I am accomplishing something along with you😂 without any of the blood sweat and tears! ❤❤❤
Glad to see you guys are back on the road! Be safe and have fun. Can’t wait until the next video
It's been awhile, glad to see the video again from you guys. Costa Rica is a beautiful place and birders paradise 😊
Hello Thomas!! Hey thank you for checking out our latest video. Yeah you being a cycle tourer and Birder would absolutely love Costa Rica! Heck you may never return to Florida if you went there. ;-) Take care and happy cycling and birding! ~Ron & Petra
Thank you for sharing and being great example of a couple touring in beautiful place. Increases my hope for my wife and I getting back to bikepacking :)
Hey there Randal! Thank you for following along and for the wonderful comment. We do travel pretty well together, but it can be tough sometimes when you're together 24x7. Our only separation is when we're cycling and there are hills. One of us goes up faster than the other! ;-) Fingers crossed you and your wife can get back in the bikes and traveling down the road soon. Until then, take care and happy cycling. ~Ron & Petra
Wow, you guys are back at it again!!! Guess you needed a vacation from your vacation...🤣. Good luck on the rest of your journey.
Amazing! Rain storms and uphill!! No way!! ❤
Hello Dear Friend Kathy!! Thank you so much for following along and for your continued support!! Truly appreciate you! Yeah it a good thing we're both waterproof because otherwise things would have been ugly with all that darn rain! :-) Take care ~Ron & Petra
glad to see you both are ok after a long silence

Thank you for the kind words and for following along. We are going to try and get caught up with our videos and fingers crossed we won't disappear again. Take care Ron & Petra

Hey Ron and Petra. Great to see more videos from you guys. I have loved this tour and it inspires me to make the journey myself one day. Take care and ride safe. Jay
Hey JP!! Happy to see you're still following along. We've been working on this one for a little while now and it feels good to finally post it. How goes Thailand? Cheers bud! ~Ron
Awesome! Finally another great video from you guys, I was worried that you might have stopped making videos, because I really enjoyed following you along your adventures.
The wildlife in Costa Rica looks amazing. I am just not sure about all that traffic in Panama. That just didn’t look like fun at all.
Looking forward to seeing more of your travels again.
Oh my gosh YOU’RE BACK ❣️#wonderful So thankful for you! YOU 2 ROCK 🥰
Ron & Petra... thanks for sharing... what a nice adventure. Stay safe keep recording.
Great
Hola Amigo!! Muchas gracias and thank you for following along. Take care! ~Ron & Petra
Great to see another video from you two🙂
The scenery and wildlife in Costa Rica looks stunning.
I would of been fretting for days worrying about crossing that bridge. Glad you made it safely.
Cheers
L&R
Hello Les and Rob! Thank you for checking out our latest video. Actually, the Bridge of the Americas turned out not to be too stressful, since we ended up having police on a motorbike follow us. The worst bridge we've ever crossed was the Astoria bridge connecting Washington and Oregon! We've cycled in some crazy places over the years, but that 4 1/2 mile Astoria bridge was stressful! We learned later from some other cycle tourers that there is a small ferry just up the river that we could have taken. Cheers to you and happy cycling! ~Ron & Petra
Wow that was nice! Your videos get better and better. Brought back some fantastic memories. Hope to see you on the road again soon! Life is way to short to spend in an office.
Hola Amigo! Thank you and yeah good times were had in Costa Rica and Panama! See you again down the road. ~Ron & Petra
Your comment about Petra becoming a speed demon when chased by dogs, makes me think that you have to get a dog.😁 Stay safe good people.
Hey there Steve! Nah there are plenty of dogs during our travels that help speed her up! Seriously though she finds turbo boost when the dogs show up and she is really good at putting me between her and the dogs. :-) Take care ~Ron & Petra
Great to see your still rolling
Hello Gary and many thanks for following along! Take care ~Ron & Petra
Thanks for sharing, great video.
Hello Garry! Many thanks for following along! Much appreciated Amigo! Take care, Ron & Petra
Love the still shots! Beautiful wildlife. EXIT tax 😯 was the phone booth functional ? Was the rain warm? You’s are looking a little lean 😉 Take care and God speed. 🥰
Soo beautiful
Hey there Tony!! Many thanks for checking out the video. Yes both Costa Rica and Panama are beautiful. Take care bud! ~Ron & Petra

happy to see this pop up. are you guys back on the road?
Hello Craig! Thank you!! At the moment no but we are going to do our best to get caught up on our video before setting back out. Take care! ~Ron & Petra
Are u guys in south America yet?
What are you using for navigation, maps, cyclo comp, and route planning?
Hello Abba and thank you for the question. As a back up device we always travel with a Garmin e-Trex series GPS loaded with the maps of our location. Now with the invention of Smart Phones, we have been using more mapping apps such as Maps.me, Komoot, offline Google Maps, MapOut (iPhone only), and while not related to maps, we do like iOverlander for scouting out locations to camp, get water, border crossing information, and other stuff related to traveling. We may have missed something but if you go back to some of our newest videos and look under the "Description" we have added some useful information. Also, we rely heavily on getting information from the locals. Take care and happy cycling! ~Ron & Petra
Ur back what happened wow???
Hello Jason! We just had a few detours in our travels, but we are good thank you. Ron & Petra
Ok
Which part of florida are you guys from@@PedalPowerTouring
@@jasontomica8938 sorry missed this. Brooksville. You?
@@PedalPowerTouring I live near San Francisco, California. You guys crossed the Golden Gate Bridge, which was cool. I watched one of your videos
Cuidado con el caballo! Que patea...
haha we were very careful. :-)
@21:52 NOPE!
haha yeah we added this footage to show that it's not always quiet and peaceful country roads. :-)
What's up with the "NO Cyclist" signs? Are there alternatives to busy highways? YUCK! Please tell me there are. Looking for travels to and thru Costa Rica and central America. Thanks.
hey Stephen! No idea why those signs were there because there is no other way and shortly afterwards there is a bike path, then the bike disappears again. Traffic in Costa Rica wasn't really that bad. In the towns it would pick up some, but overall it was nice. Now in Panama!! After Santiago forget it, the traffic was steady and annoying until we crossed the Bridge of Americas. if you have any questions about Costa Rica shoot us an email and we'll try to help you. Until then happy cycling and all the best as you cycle Central America. ~Ron & Petra
