@@oldsouthernpine No. Watching from the great state of Tennessee, my home state. 10 minutes from the Virginia border. About 50 minutes to the North Carolina border. About 2.5 to the South Carolina border. I love North Carolina. Wilmington and the Outer Banks have beautiful long leaf pine trees. Anyway. Minnesota reminds me of the late great Prince. Paisley Park in Chanhassen. Plan to visit his big recording studio / home someday soon. ✝✝
Tennessee is absolutely beautiful! So is North Carolina! I’ve spent a lot of time in and around Wilmington and the long leaf pines are stunning!
@@oldsouthernpine Honestly, I had my doubts you were in North Carolina. But you have a bit of a Southern accent and the biscuits and gravy and the name Southern Pine. There is a Southern Pines NC. So I was a bit confused 🤔😁. My husband was on temporary assignment in Wisconsin once. I cried a lot. It was so cold, windy and flat. I was very glad to get back home to the Tennessee mountains. All jokes aside it was a great video! Love listing to the rain on a tarp. My girl and eye wear watching the video as we are winding down for the night. I notice you didn’t use a ground sheath or a “footprint” on that tent. Did you have any moisture coming through the bottom of that tent?
Bro, I keep telling you, it’s why my own state (that I love) exiled me to the tundra! (🤣 on the outside but really 😭). My Memommie should beat me with that pan if she were with us! It really was a shame to our culture. I sure appreciate you watching! Good timing too as I’m just getting settled back in and my lady and I are queuing up your part 2 now! No sir, had zero moisture come up through the tent. Mostly because that tarp I was using was huge and I’d picked a slight raise in the ground so the tarp directed everything down and slightly away from the tent. Also, Ayamaya makes a really quality tent. I’ve used their tents right on wet snow before with no ground sheet and have never had a problem.
@@oldsouthernpine if you want to try it stick that lid out for a life with a lip use that cast iron like a stove. Just got to keep and eye out on those biscuits lol
