From everyday life in New Stork City on Duckworld, dropping into a parallel universe from his known as Earth-616 due to the actions of the demon Thog the Overmaster, battling Thog with other mystical beings in the Florida Everglades aka the "Nexus of All Realities," falling off the Stepping Stones of Oblivion to land in Cleveland Ohio, various adventures with his girlfriend Beverly Switzler and the enigmatic Man-Thing, becoming a renowned detective with an office located next-door to She-Hulk, key roles in Marvel's Civil War and Secret Invasion events, to being a lead member of the Ducky Dozen and A.R.M.O.R. teams; Let's take a look at this wacky Marvel hero, and the sharpest duck to ever walk mainstream Earth. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic book and science fiction characters.

There have been at least 3 Howard the Duck series. The original in the 70's one in the 80"s and a Max Imprint series in 2001 or 2002. There were also the occasional mini series as well as the giant marvel books in the late seventies to early eighties.

Good summary. Not too much about his personality or the deeply satirical nature of his original comic though. He also has had powers of sorts at various times. He is also Master of the Mallard Arts, Iron Duck and a few other things.

I found a VHS tape of the Howard the Duck movie that came out in the 80s that I haven't seen since 2003 I was 4 or 5. I did my research apparently it flop but I loved the movie. It did come out in the 80s I think it was pretty good for its time.

The Dolph Lundgren version of The Punisher I do believe was the 1st... then Howard, then the F4 flick that NEVER HAPPENED, that crappy Cap movie, Spiderman was a tv show, so was Hulk and I do believe there was another... then nothing for several years, then Blade hit the screen, and here we are!! I'm old enough to remember seeing these in theaters, although I think I'm missing one or two... feel free to correct ✌🏿

But the Howard the Duck comic books and Man-Thing comic boos are really great though and they deserve a chance to get another film adaptations with this time that closely faithfully adapts their comics.
He’s one of my favorite marvel Character along side with Tara Tam, Rocket Raccoon 🦝, Star Lord, Jubilee, Captain Sale Raccoon 🦝 and course my personal favorite Marvel characters within the modern Howard The Duck Comics is Linda The Duck 🦆 & her sister Shocket Raccoon 🦝 love those two.
P.S. Thankfully I have all of Chip Zdarsky’s and Joe Quinones (2015-2016) Howard The Duck comics pretty amazing for a talking Duck.

It should not be a surprise to you my brother New Sage that I love Howard the duck. I remember when I was little watching a original movie on video, it would not be until later years rewatching it that I would understand it. This of course made it that I would seek out and find Howard's comic books along with his appearances and learn about the character for real. To me Howard is that character that is very fun and funny but gets into the craziest situations and I mean crazy. As always, as expected, as appreciated, fantastic narration, content and video my brother New Sage.
