    Pick ur brain please. Although not a Polaris, but instead Kawasaki Mojave 250 botton end queston: I have smooth turning bottom end to be assembled into complete motor. Can the crank be checked for suitability without splitting cases? Seems pretty tight side to side, gently shaking rod, and as long as lubed they seem very reliable.

      There are measurements with a feeler gauge on the Polaris for side to side movements. It does have slight play. Up and down from connecting rod to crank is what I look for the most. There should be no movement. Not sure about Kawasaki
