Neither Jeff nor Tim Buckley were 27, when they died. Jeff was 30 and Tim was 28.
When Radiohead saw Jeff in concert in 1994, he was actually touring with his band, then, rather than playing solo.
Since you mentioned Muse: Matt Bellamy actually bought the Telecaster that Jeff used in this performance (which was Jeffâs main guitar) and has used it on his latest music.
With respect to Robert Plant, he said that Jeff was a âmuch greater singerâ than him. Jimmy Page said that Jeff was the âgreatest singer to appear in two decades (between the â70s and â90s). Brad Pitt also said this about Jeff: âHe Plant and Page in one, on a technical level; itâs mind-blowing.â
Eddie Vedder on Jeff: âMan, I had this guy with me once, and we were sittinâ down and talkinâ and jamminâ. He played his version of Indifference, for me. Man, I tell ya, Iâll never forget the way he did it. I was just Fu$#@% speechless. One of the most memorable moments of my life. I just wish I had seen him more.â

@@galaxyjams Iâd recommend doing one of these next
Jeff Buckley - Grace (BBC Late Show)
Jeff Buckley - Dream Brother (Live in Chicago)
Jeff Buckley - The Way Young Lovers Do (Live at Sin-e)
Iâm not being hyperbolic when I say thatâs the latter is the most impressive live, solo performance, of any song, ever recorded. It is phenomenal. It demonstrates Jeffâs guitar and vocal wizardry better than any other performance of his. It has all of his vocal acrobatics and tricks packed into one song. You will be truly astonished.
@@MojoPin1983 Very good! Thank you again for your input - we hope you enjoy our other reacts and we will be considering featuring one of those 3 options in a future episode
@@MojoPin1983 do Grace next and you got mine
@@jaymcmullen6274 He had a remarkable voice, but Tim was something else!
great reaction guys, "last goodbye" by Jeff is one of the greatest songs of the 90s! hope u check it out, thanks alot!
Thank you! We hope we've earned your channel subscription
in regards to matt bellamy, once during an interview he said that Buckley's singing style inspired him
Thank you so much for this tidbit, Juanbru!!!!!! We hope we've earned your channel subscription :)
What about what I think is an hommage to James Joyce's Ulysses (Jeff was incredibly well read) ... In ending the song on "Yes" which coincidentally is the last word in Ulysses ... đ
Great input, Bea!!!!!!
thereâs a band called Nothing But Thieves that also takes inspiration from Jeff Buckley. you guys should check them out! the singer Conor Mason sounds somewhat like Jeff Buckley as well.
His live performances are insane!! I love the studio versions of his songs, but he was a powerhouse in the live setting. His name most definitely needs to be up there with Plant, Cornell, Mercury, Maynard James Keenan and other rock gods.
He said that Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was "his Elvis"
Reverb does not do a lot in live settings particularly that huge of a setting. It has itâs own natural reverb.
Thank you for the input!!!!"
And no one will be talking about Muse in 50 years, but Jeff Buckley..
Google says he was 30 when he passed.

What about comparing Jeff Buckley to Jeff Buckley?
@@galaxyjams hahahaha đ€đŒ
@@galaxyjams I misspoke. Itâs alright to compare him to himself, Shakespeare, Gandhi, and/or Mother TeresaâŠ
@@galaxyjams Buckley fan + late night at the office + bourbon = thinking you are Jeff Buckleyâs protective older brother đ
Truly incomparable.
