One of the artists I most regret never seeing, Jeff passed in 1997 after releasing only one album, "Grace". This is one of a series of my dive into this mind-blowing record. Please like and subscribe to support my channel, and thanks for watching!!

I can't watch a single performance of his without tearing up. Not because of his death, but because of his talent.

Highly recommend the Grace NPA live performance if you haven’t seen it, it’s amazing. Such a tragic loss. 💔

Mate I’d review as much as you can from that Glastonbury festival, even if in your own time. The opening to Dream Brother is just unreal.

Thanks for this. Jeff meant a lot to me and still does. It hit me hard when he went missing. This performance is a classic. ❤ His live performances are always different from the studio versions, although this one was close. Have you seen his 'What Will You Say?' from the same festival? It's powerful.
He and Chris Cornell were friends. Chris wrote a song for him after he drowned. Jeff's mom gave Chris Jeff's old red telephone, and Chris kept it near him on stage. He also helped Jeff's mom go through Jeff's unreleased recordings for the posthumous album.
Thanks again for the Jeff reaction. ❤

Goddamn, that voice!!! I was only a teenager when Grace came out and that he is definitely one of those artists I didn’t get to see live. Luckily we still videos like this just to watch millions of times.
One of the greatest voices in rock history. He is up there with Robert Plant, Freddy Mercury, Ronnie James Dio, Maynard James Keenan, Chris Cornell and a few others that I can’t think of right now.

I have always been a huge fan of that dark alternative rock from bands like Radiohead, Chris Cornell solo career or the very first years of Coldplay. I have discovered Jeff many years later, and even if I noticed the unbelievable artist he was, I didn't know how heavy was his influence in alternative music. He literally changed the sound and music of all of those artist I've already mentioned. Radiohead is the biggest alternative band of all time, and the influence from Jeff in Thom's singing style was a key, and the influence in The Bends and OK Computer (this last considered one of the greatest albums of all time) is undeniable. Plus Muse, or even people like John Mayer. Parachutes by Coldplay (one of the most underrated albums out there) is completely inspired by Jeff, recognized by the band, and again, both music and the Chris Martin's singing style.
When I first heard Jeff, I listened to his album in order, so "Mojo Pin" was literally the first track I ever heard from him, and when the first rhythm began I thought that was one of that times when you are listening art in a pure state. A guy who was changing the rules. His music and the whole album was so against and different to grunge and the other 90's music. So experimental and ahead of his time.

I’ll never forget when I first heard Buckley when I was 18, he became my favorite, it was the most mind blowing musical experience I ever had anyway. I really enjoy your reactions of him. He’s my favorite guitarist. I love his performances on Live at Sin-e.
