Worrying is like cringe sickness to me that i cant get rid of it.
I remember being so scared to walk out the house when I dyed my hair half and half. I forced myself to go downtown Chicago to help myself get over that fear. Every disgusted look I got and judgmental eye that looked my way made me love my choice even more. I loved that I broke through đ„°

Matt, I know this video is 2years old! I have struggled with lots of issues in the past. Self esteem issues, self confidence, imposter syndrome. Getting obsessively worried about what others think about me and trying to pease them. The past few weeks have been refreshing since I have started to change it. This video was just a reminder for me to continue doing what I started. I blogged about it, which was something so difficult for me and I had stopped 5 hears back. Don't care what others think, and happy that I have started!

The one thing I struggle with is the balance between not giving a crap about others judgements and simultaneously looking after those close to you. I'm a young woman who donated her long hair and shaved the rest just to see my confidence would override insecurity. My mum was disappointed in me until her coworkers approved. I shaved my head again a few months later because I was endowed with a beautiful head shape and it hurt her. So now I'm growing my hair long again. The balance about not a giving a crap and taking care of those close to us can be a conflicting balancing act. What do others think on this note?

You got that right! I was hiking in the mountains recently and "felt" a fear, intangible and unwarranted by all my senses since nothing was visibly there. Now, there might have been something just on the other side of the crest of those hills, but I couldn't see anything. Nothing showed itself, and yet I had my back up until I was out of this little canyon and back up in the field leading back to civilization. Oh, there was some kind of animal droppings all over the place and a smell of chamisa, which smells of rotting hide. Sometimes paranoia is good thinking when I am in Canyonland.
