Solovyov is just a greedy, cowardly worm. He follows the wavering banner, and if Putin were ever deposed in some kind of revolution (not likely to happen but hypothetically speaking), he would suddenly change his tune and start talking about how awful Putin was to save his skin. He doesn't have any convictions, he's an empty-headed mouthpiece.

Yep. He doesn't even bother hiding his bloodthirst, and even consciously chooses to accentuate it. He's preaching to the converted, reassuring them that their genocidal hatred for Ukrainians is normal and justified. If the Russian people isn't inoculated against empathy with this dehumanizing propaganda, then they might start feeling bad for the Ukrainians and wishing the Russian troops would just come home so the dying could stop. They've got to be taught to hate Ukraine and the West more than they love their own lives, and the lives of their sons, brothers, and fathers. This bloodletting has all been pointless, it makes me sick. And deep down I get the distinct feeling Putin will get away with it, dying of natural causes before he can be brought to justice. I shudder to think who could replace him. Will Solovyov go into politics? I wouldn't be surprised. He is good at telling the Russian masses whatever they want to hear, which just so happens to be insane nonsense that sounds hilariously absurd to the rest of the world, like constant talk about using nukes on various countries, including Ukraine, the U.S., France, the U.K., Germany, and Poland. I'm not afraid of a nuclear war but I do worry about Russia attempting to resurrect that old demon, the Soviet Union. They're practically halfway there to returning to a Cold War footing, not just in foreign policy but domestically as well. Media is state-run, schools are becoming militarized, political dissidents are being prosecuted, young men are being conscripted, the main industry and source of wealth for Russia is a pseudo-governmental monopoly (Gazprom), and while there is freedom of religion, the FSB has completely infiltrated and taken over the Russian Orthodox Church.

Im not American but, as someone who has listened to hours of the Howard stern show, solovyov uses allot of the same tricks he does to capture the audience, he brings up problems with the set, problems with the producer and staff, talks about his personal life, and from what i can gather he would've been in America around the height of the stern show
