Mr. Eerie Edingburgh has been one busy bloke.
😄 i have that. I'm getting a wee bit better with the imagery, so taking less time. Costs more (🤣) but looks a lot better. I think anyway 👍🏻
@@eerieedinburgh this is brilliantly narrated and illustrated. Thanks once again!
@@jared1870 Thank you 😊
Beautifully told ghost story. Hope Jane finds peace😢
Thank you 😊
Beautiful Narration. This channel is solid gold.
Aww, too kind. Thank you 😊
Excellent! As always. Your work is gratefully received and beautifully done. Well done sir.
And feedback like this makes my day and makes it all worthwhile 😊
Very nicely done, you are probably the top video producer I've seen on CZcams. You could narrate professionally, you have the voice and ability. Thank you for the hard work you do, as stated in today's other video. Your work is greatly appreciated!
Oh wow, thank you 😊 feedback like this makes it all worth while 🥹
His voice makes me swoon Dolly..lol
You just keep getting better and better. I'm even re watching some of your earlier posts now. Brilliant...
You. Are. Too. Kind. Thank you 😊
Wow. So well done that. I used to see a guy now and again in the mid 00's dressed in full Victorian garb plus top hat around the same area, assumed he was an eccentric but who knows eh.
Exactly! We could be walking past ghosts all the time. Even apparitions of modern people - who'd know unless something odd happened 🤷🏻♂️
Hey , I used to see him too around bruntsfield morning side area.
I really enjoyed this. Fabulous storytelling, and lovely alliteration..❤️
Too kind, thank you 😊
Poor girl. Great video, as always.
Thank you 😊
Poor Jane, hope she's at rest now.😔 Thanks for the vid! You have a lovely voice for narrating spooky yarns.😊 Elliott O'Donnell is one of my favourite ghost story writers, 'Jane of George Street' counts as a favourite as does 'The orange haired footman', 'The fifth stair' and 'The beautiful spoiler' amongst many others.
Thank you 😊 he's responsible for many a nightmare growing up!
I love this story. I have a copy of Scottish Ghost Stories by Elliott O'Donnnell that I bought as a youngster back in the mid 80s. It was my favourite ghost story book. Whenever Dad drove down George Street with us all in the car I always kept an eye out for Jane. Never saw her though. There is another similar book by the same publisher called Strange Scottish Stories by William Owen that is also worth a read if you can find a copy.
OMG! I've been trying to remember the name of that book for years! The one with the skull on the cover? I think it has the story of the fiddlers in it? Thank you for reminding me the name.
Glad I could help@@eerieedinburgh😁 Yes, the other book has a skull on the front and it has the story of the fiddlers too. That story is The Fairies of Tomnahurich, I think.
Love that book. I brought it out last winter when my power went out and needed a way to pass the time in the dark with no screens. 😆
Instantly thought of it when I saw this video come up on my feed.
@@unikkorns I bought a copy on Amazon, arrives tomorrow 💪🏻
I like the way in which you reenact these stories with, presumably, friends and family, bringing them to life with coloured photography. Its much better than the unimaginative images on some other channels. This is a different story, new to me.
Its only problem, which for me brings the whole story into questionable repute is its source in Elliott O'Donnell - and apparently he's the sole source. Be very careful - he was a journalist and professional romancer who spun some very good, quite frightening yarns which were about as genuine as an eight pound note!
Yes, i've read a bit about him. 50 Berkely Square is also associated with him i believe? He does write about corroborated stories at times (Glamis being the most obvious) but good points 👍🏻
I remember that scottish ghost book. We visited Scotland when I was a child and finding that book was the best bit if my holiday. I can still remember some of the stories: Glamis, Pearlin Jean, the highlander at Kilicranke. I loved loved loved that book.
Same. I still have the copy my mum bought in Pitlochry in 1984. Love the stories and the illustrations 😊 been to Killiecrankie so many times, still no sign of the phantom regiment though!
Properly told! In triple digit California heat, you managed to give me a chill.
Thank you 😊 i hope you're coping ok with the heat. 68+ over here and i literally melt.
Another great ghost story ,you have been busy, love it, my husband from Edinburgh, I tell him what the videos are about and he t me where about you are talking about thankyou
Two in one day! Nice!!!
Spoiling you 😄
@@eerieedinburghI am not complaining in the least! Lol I will try my best to never miss one episode! Lol
@@tammydownes2413 i know and i always looking forward to reading what you think 👏🏻😊
😊👍Great work.
Thank you 😊
Oh, my! Poor lady.

My pleasure 😊
Very eerie, I really enjoyed this one 👀👻
Oh wow! I quiet enjoyed that! Thank you! I cant wait for your next postings.
Thanks Tammy 😊
@@eerieedinburgh just curious, have you ever had a paranormal experience yourself? I'd be interested in knowing about it.
@@tammydownes2413 I have, two that i'd consider paranormal. One of my videos "The Ferrymans Cottage" is about something very odd that happened in 2006 and when i was 15 or 16 i saw the reflection in my tv (switched off at the time) of a man in a trench coat and hat stood behind me in my parents old living room. What about you?
@@eerieedinburgh oh my goodness! Yes I've had a few but family related. It started when I was 5. I had an "imaginary" friend that turned out was my brother who died of electricution by accident. After that I could see ghost all the time as well as speak to them. When my mother passed she was always around until my second son was born. I have been to cemeteries hunting as well. My life has always been open so I watch all these shows on CZcams and talk to you all about your experiences. Just like I did with you from the beginning, I try to find them. It's important to talk about these things because our life doesn't end after death. Keeping an open mind is important. So I appreciate you and many others telling the stories and legions. Thank you
@@tammydownes2413 Wow! That's incredible, thanks for sharing.
I have a copy of the book mentioned that I bought many years ago. I often wonder if Jane still visits George Street. 😍👍
Thanks
You're an absolute gem, Kelly. Thank you! 🫂
Ah George street….The Standing Order and All Bar One…happy memories!
Been in All Bar One a good few times 🍻
Superb content as usual Mr E. Have you done a story on Mary Stevens Close? 😊
Mary Kings? No, not yet...😉 and thank you for the lovely feedback.
Yes Mary Kings. My mistake. 🙄
Excellent!
Thank you 👍🏻😊
Gotta feel sympathy for all those who never find rest.
Perhaps the doctor advised the lass wrong. .Did they have some self interest., Taking advantage of her situation. Look up who actually gained.
I enjoyed this story. I would like to ask if anyone knows if the chemist shop has always been a chemist shop or was that the space that was Jane's shop? I hope she finds peace that was a little sad.
