😊👍, my stepmother used to live in the toll keepers cottage on Kelso Bridge. To say there was a lot of ‘activity’ was putting it mildly. Her dog would often wake up in the downstairs lounge and sit looking at the staircase through he closed door. The upstairs level was by far the most eerie
I liked this story of your time on Gigha it was a pretty spooky tale , i would have looked up the history on the Ferryman's cottage to see why it was haunted. 👻😱
So, we did have a relative who was fairly local and a bit of a historian. She believed that someone was murdered there in the 60's. I couldnt find a record of it so didnt feel right including. Makes you wonder though...

Some of these old cottages are very spooky to stay in - I know this from my own experience!

P:S. just one wee thing - your viewers are from all over the world, many may not be native English speakers and not used to the lovely Scottish way of speaking (that I enjoy so much 😀), some, like myself may suffer from tinnitus or have bad hearing... It helps a lot to turn down the background music a bit so people can concentrate to the narration better. Thank you.

I spent a night on the couch in that very same cottage back in 1999. Slept well enough but did not like the atmosphere of the cottage in the morning, even though I knew there were people asleep upstairs it unsettled me and I was out the door very quickly.
Love the island though and hope now to get back this summer.

Curious story. I read the subtitles, not having sound, and think the system has trouble with you accent - it comes up with some strange, and amusing phraseology at times. Come back, Para Handy and Neal Munro. Love the pictures.
Well, usually a good idea is to do some research on the place and get some idea how old the property is and who lived there and what was going on at the time. Interesting story though, thank you for sharing

Did you delve into the history? Was there a young boy who had lived in the cottage at one point? Did he die there? INVESTIGATE it!
I couldnt find much when i put this together, but i think its an air bnb and i hope to go back. Will definitely do a wee bit more digging. All i know is there was talk of a murder there in the 50's or 60's, but i couldnt find anything to corroborate that.
I live on the coast opposite, born here and lve never ever heard this story. So l don’t believe this is true.
