Or, counterpoint - no visas required if you stop Israel’s attacks, sanction them on settler violence and take affirmative action to restore the 1967 borders. Then you have the awful task of rebuilding Palestine.

At this point just stopping Israel won’t be enough. Gaza is flattened, the infrastructure is destroyed, the hospitals are gutted, the doctors and engineers and police officers and the rest are decimated. Even if all killing stopped today and all the aid that is needed was immediately allowed to enter there would still not be an adequate life support structures there for anyone elderly, disabled, sick or with young children for months, possibly years. Every Palestinian able to seek refuge in a third country would free up resources and liveable space for those more physically able to remain and start rebuilding

also if u hadnt noticed, but politicsjoe bring on guest that suits them and they generally agree on a lot of the same things, whereas talktv with piers morgan will debate anyone on topics....this is what makes talktv different to that of politicsjoe, politicsjoe is corrupt theres no question about it....they claim to be "center liberals" but they are 100% left wing media without a doubt, theres nothing "center" about them

Why on earth are the politicians debating UK visas for Palestinians now?
This debate should have taken place seven months ago. What is happening here is nothing more than yet another Westminster con of the public. Westminster is clearly feeling the heat from the General Public over what is happening in Palestine which is why they are debating this topic now. The politicians in Westminster are desperate to show the General Public that they are doing something for the Palestinians except one thing they could, nay should, be doing they are not namely blocking arms sales to Israel and demanding, not meekly begging, Netanyahu ceases his murderous genocidal attacks on Gaza.

Look at the Palestinians in Jordon, black September, civil war, terrorism and trying to overthrow the king and government of the country that gave them refuge. Palestinians in kuwait who sided with the Iraqis during their invasion, in Lebanon the Palestinian liberation organisation was the catalyst for the long running civil war in Lebanon committing many atrocities and massacres towards Christian’s. Ask yourself why no country that borders Palestine will give them refuge or protection in there country ,not one single country will give them sanctuary.
Why why is that well it's because of there ideology they don't want it in there country and that's the hard facts.

Because Ukrainians are like minded people with whom we share many cultural values, and Palestinians are extremely different in some quite fundamental cultural ways.
Theres a massive islamist problem in Gaza and it's obviously unwise to import large chunks of that into your country.
I dont believe there should be no immigration from the region, but clearly there are unique and particular concerns that apply to gazans, that do not apply to Ukrainians, and so the levels of immigration should be lower and the standards applied more rigorous and stringent.
I know some of you will think this is some wildly offensive take, but its palpably and obviously a mainstream thought on the topic.
