One against four "and they're still afraid of him" ... He wiped the floor with them... The number of lies proceeding from the group about security threats & crime coming with refugees was unbelievable... And that's just one point... Their hypocritical ignorance when it came to so-called "colonization" & the so-called "white savior" was unbelievable too... Considering they're discussing what predominantly "white" nations should be doing in helping predominantly "brown & black" nations... You can't be that demanding of "white" people's help & then ridicule the fact that "white" people are helping... The whole thing was ludicrous from start to finish... Agreed that Douglass was a legend in that debate... They're lucky he didn't get the chance to open up on them... You can tell he had much more to say.

@@rigelb9025 It's nothing to do with "homecourt advantage" Douglas is well used to debating in a hostile crowd... But you've got "four" people on that stage "including the host" making one argument, while you have only "one" person in Douglass Murry making the other argument to a crowd who's in complete agreement with the "four"... That's not a fair debate by anyone's standards... Yet he still won... They resorted to misinformed slander about so-called "colonization & white saviors" then proceeded to outright lie about the crime statistics & security threat coming with open doors & so-called refugees... Then to laugh at the freedom of speech being attacked when Douglas made the point while talking about freedom of expression when it comes to minority rights against the majority in the host nations... I was in Austria recently - 10 years these people are just sitting there on government assistance as they aren't allowed to even work and make something for themselves - how can one justify this? then when crime starts - they start the narrative " immigrants causing crime rates to rise this past year etc etc " - not " 10 years and still no papers for these people who came to seek asylum, being forced to feed their children with drug money and hidden underground markets , Austrian government still has no answers, how long can this go on for? Yoooooooo seriously!!! 💯 true! Oh and btw, I'm a professor myself and higher academia has become INFESTED with these pseudo-intellectuals that are literally just mouthpieces for Marxism. All they do is indoctrinate students. It is disgusting and so tragic honestly, because college is now a disgrace when it was once held in such high regard. I miss the days when we actually TAUGHT our students how to think, not WHAT to think. And if you try to tell me that this "isn't happening" you are either DEEPLY DISHONEST or DEEPLY IGNORANT to what is going on behind the scenes. Teachers across the nation are literally being TRAINED to only teach certain ideologies AND to only teach THROUGH certain ideologies. Meaning, that most of the marxist theories are baked into the pedagogical approaches of Teachers and any kind of criticism or even questioning of these approaches or materials is NOT ALLOWED. Example, you can squawk all day long about how evil whyte people are, and how evil males are, and how America is the devil, and Christians are violent extremists, and that being gay is amazing and that everyone should be trans and we should medically intervene in minors-- you can be as loud as you want about any of this. But the very MOMENT you even stop to slightly question or even just consider any of this, you will be silenced, punished, expelled, or fired. An absolutely acceptable question of "should we allow permanent medical intervention for minors?" becomes "HOW can we better support and provide medical transition to minors".... and you don't see a problem with this?
Education USED TO BE about critically examing an issue or topic from a multitude of perspectives. That does not exist any longer on college campuses and this DIRECTLY correlates (and I would argue is CAUSAL) to the exponential increase in wokeism and hyper-left ideologies from college students.

Putting words, intentions, judgments and morals in your guest instead of letting them to speak out is the worst thing someone can do in a debate. Not the other way around. Of course people shouldn't be racist or bigoted in any way, but if a westerner was to move to China or Saudi Arabia, they would not just be expected but demanded to adapt to those cultures.
Why is it in the West the same can't be asked of immigrants coming here? Instead, racism is used as an excuse to shut down the conversation of British, American or Australians for example, to have the right to keep their own cultures.

I understand that's a common buzzword for people to spit out when they encounter an idea that differs from their own, but as states previously nothing he said could be termed "racist" as you describe it. Secondly for you to say that citizens of a country do not have the right to say who does or doesn't enter their country via immigration is asinine. Thirdly but not lastly this only goes to show how you feel and are very much the ideologue you portrayed the original poster to be. Now finally this is not a debate, simply me explaining to a misguided troll how their opinion is junk.

That's the problem I take issue with the most from your comments as basically your saying that if you don't like what someone has to say then it is okay to silence them. If you can't recognize the error in that judgement then you my friend are lost. Everyone should be allowed to speak their opinion freely, period. Especially when said opinion is in the form of a debate, as this is. Cause in a debate people are allowed to express their ideas to others in a free and open forum.
