Who gave away Palestine to whom? Britain's 1939 plan was for 1 state with an Arab majority and restrictions on Jewish immigration and restrictions on Jews buying land from Arabs. The UN 1947 plan was for two states. A civil war started where Britain suffered as many casualties as the Jews and Arabs did (in 1947). Britain withdrew. Britain then funded Jordan's intervention into the war. Then you have the 1948 war.
There was no Palestine. This is/was Jewish land for Iver 3000 years, the evil of Islam only came about 1400 years ago.
