It's because they, black Americans, internalized their race into their core identity.
They made what they are, into who they are. So once the traits, mannerisms, beliefs, way of life was cemented for them.
Any other way would be consider "not being black" or "uncle Tom" like.
Thus making it incredible hard to change themselves. And any that do get outed and ostracized within the community. Making sure that they cannot effect others and show them a different path.

Dated a girl in highschool when I was a freshman. She was black, I was white. It was absolutely amazing, she was so nice and caring and whenever she would have problems I'd always be there to help her out. Until one day, bunch of black kids (mostly women) found out and called me a slave owner, an abuser, a racist. It got so bad that she broke up with me because she didn't want me to get bullied for the rest of my life.

Idk I tried dating a black girl and it was weird, for one she never talked. Like I took her on dates to the movies and stuff and I did all the talking, she only answered questions. Like at one point I actually started sweating because I had run out of stuff to say. So four dates. Most boring dates I've ever been on. I tried dating two more black girls after that but I've found that for the most part they are unapproachable, and then the second thing is they would keep bringing up race, and stuff like that. It's creepy, and uncomfortable. I don't like hearing about ethnicity all the time, I don't care about it. I always got along best with Latina women, and found they are the easiest to talk to. So I married a Brazilian woman and she's great.
