And that's what i absolutely love about Skillet, they don't push their religion to you, you can interpretate the songs in every way you want with a religious meaning or not and that's why i love listening to them even tough i'm not religious. Anyway, you should absolutely react to Back From The Dead from Skillet! The music video is kind of a sequel to the Monster one, they made a mini-movie with these two videos and it's absolutely incredible!

It’s religious, but not preachy. It glorifies God in their way, but it helps reach a wider audience. Ironically, this is how Christians end up winning over atheists/agnostics more, but too many Christians think it’s not enough.

I'm listening to Skillet since I was 13. That makes 10 years now and they inspired me to reach for something greater then I could imagine as a 13 year old boy. I just love them and they are a very big part of my life....

I’ve seen skillet 10 times in concert and they have rocked it out every single time but they also get real. This song and, whispers in the dark and rebirthing are my sons three favorite skillet songs. I like them all

I've been an atheist for a long time and I still rocked out skillet and a few other Christian bands in my earlier 20s. What I liked about skillet is that they you can interpret their music in whatever way you'd like, the religion aspect isn't pushed on you imo

Yeah I like how their music is very much like a love song, it could be a guy singing to the woman he loves.

Many panhands consider the Comitose Ablums Skillets peak sound and best overall beginning to end. Do the song Rebirthing from this album....its their live concert closing song and they even talk about it being there favorite ever written.

Yeah comatose is amazing you should check out that whole album it’s insane but start with Rebirthing and you have to do the music video for that one for sure
The best part of Skillet is that they don’t actually SAY God or Jesus in the songs so that way it appeals to people who are Christian and not Christian. Personally I do believe in God but I know others who don’t and they love skillet like I do. I can use skillet for help with both spiritual and earthly problems.
