Thanks again Nate for talking to me and for your suggestions re: moving the 1946 C140 I just bought! It’s restoration is going to be extremely similar to yours, I believe. (Every bolt, from the ground up, and hasn’t flown in ~30 years.) Your video series has already been an inspiration and will hopefully guide and incentivize me on what I’ll really need to do to get this done!!

I recently saw your videos in my feed as I have been watching a number of aviation videos about restorations. I wanted you to know how much I enjoyed your journey with the 140. Truly a labor of love for an aircraft that turned out beautiful. I'm looking forward to your next project. Well done sir!

As a AI for 45 years, I love paperwork, on my notes, I keep them all and just put C/W, when done. Nice Job, My 120 project is 3 years in the making, since I am retired now, I have more time for my projects now...............

If you don’t like paperwork as an IA, you should probably give up your IA! Ha! I hope to be retired someday as well and have more time for restoration work.

I enjoyed the heck out of the 140 project! It was special for me because I learned to fly powered aircraft in a modified Cessna 140B. Can't remember the names of the mods, it was my dad's airplane, but it had a Lycoming O-235 engine and a larger tailwheel. Can't wait for the 180!

Certainly appreciate you watching the videos. That’s great to hear about your dads airplane. Is it still around?

@@hiebertaviation last I heard, but I don’t know where. He decided (had me on the airline pilot path - like him) to sell it and buy a C-182… I never got over missing that 140! It was starting to show a little corrosion in the aft fuselage

That 140 is a show winner! I wish I could afford to give you an offer on it, but that build is priceless! Way to do it the right way, and I look forward to the 180!

More of the work you’re doing and less close ups of you talking about it would be great. Anyway nice work
