I loved the Wind Song album but only bought it in the first place because of the backing vocal on this song by Olivia Newton John. No one can sing it like her.
I've heard the same about concert ''davesnouffer.'' To those here who had comments about JD's and back up's voices not sounding good or out of tune...have you ever toured singing night after night?Everyone has their moments/times when they are not up to par.
@smahrdt AMEN, I have the same response, his voice STILL makes me cry to this day... he is my personal Musical "hero" and was my very First album, now I have most of his collection, still adding... one of these days want to take my Son to see his memorial in Colorado, never yet been... his music will ALWAYS live in my heart and his music always makes me feel good, even though I cry often listen... his voice and his lyrics were so pure and he sang with his heart, gotta love that... miss him

John Denver is incredible and the song was overall performed well. However that background singer was not sounding as a backup. She was trying to dominate the song which was rather annoying. She did not need to sound that loud. I have done backup and you need to blend in the background not sound louder than the lead singer. It is a pity because the lady does have a good voice.
